Plot Summary

Quote:

Kojiro Shindo. Cabinet Office Director-General for Policy Planning, is at Haneda Airport for a business trip.
While the plane is on the runway, a giant structure suddenly appears out of thin air.
The plane carrying Shindo and 251 passengers is taken undamaged inside the giant structure. After everyone disembarks, a man who looks like an ordinary human being shows up. He assures those rom the plane that they're not in any danger. Shindo asks him to identify himself and explain the situation. Then the outside of the structure is displayed on a large screen, and at the same time, every passenger's cell phone starts ringing all at once. On each cell phone screen is a message from this man, to every one of Japan's citizens: "I, Yaha-kui zaShunina, hereby notify you that I am going to intervene in Japan's internal affairs."
What is this young man's goal? And will Shindo manage to become an intermediary between Japan and the Anisotorons...?

Am interested to hear more about the story and the like. Sidonia no Kishi cgi, for example, took some getting used to, but if the story and characters, etc are strong enough ... well, we shall see. ^^

Karen Senki and Arpeggio for example used CGI advantages full force. If it will be an action anime than CGI is even better. But if it's not than strange choice.

Maybe, but TV/film CG is objectively inferior to game CG since they're limited to 24 fps. No way around it.

The are talking about different thing here. Action scenes can be done in 3D better than they done in 2D. But a lot of people still think that anime being 3DCG automatically makes it bad.

or maybe ppl just dont find it appealing to the eyes...idk why its such a hard criticism for most ppl to grasp

This actually looks interesting, and the animation for me is great. I wonder why they need to make that white-haired guy(?) so feminine.
