No Fatigue: 24-jikan Tatakaeru Otoko no Tenseitan
Alternative title: NO FATIGUE The Tale of the Man Who Could Fight for 24 Hours Genres: Action, Fantasy Author: Amamiya Akira Artist: Yunagi Current status: 134 Web Chapters (Ongoing) 2 Volumes (Ongoing) Plot Summary: Spoiler:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Started reading it this week. A pretty typical fantasy series with fairies, game elements (magi with various symbols), etc. The MC, Kagi Tomonori died by getting shot by police. An unfortunate tragedy... With the 'no fatigue' skill, Kagi's life really changes he pursues the slasher that got him killed in the first place. Regarding "No Fatique", it's basically the skill granted by the goddess and apparently prevents him from being tired in any form. Over 130+ chapters and ongoing so far.

It should also be noted that the MC goes and powers up his entire family and his personal maid. So it's one big super family (he has 3 brothers and also an adopted sister joins later on).
The guy the MC is supposed to track down isn't a push over though. He's been doing all kinds of experiments in the background, and although nothing concrete about his strength has been confirmed, even as an infant (I think around 5 yrs old, but I don't recall too well since it's been a while), he was able to make a goddess cold sweat and worried about the MC. Erotora, no snusnu as far as I've gotten (I'm roughly 20-30 chapters behind). But that's to be expected when the MC is only around....13 I think? Don't remember. Either way, he's just barely or not even a teen yet.

The MC is currently 6-years-old who looks like a 9-year-old.
His adopted sister is the 12-year-old. Spoiler for Spoiler:
And I wouldn't call the MC generic. He's not dense (it's a miracle), and he actually shows interest in romance. Just not with the heroine(s), ironically; they're just older little sisters to him. Also, not a harem...I think? Only one girl has shown romantic interest in the MC, another girl is a maybe, and then there's a third side-character girl the MC showed romantic interest in but considers him a kid. The mystery arc is ass so have fun with that when you get to it. I advise just turning off your brain and doing some skimming/fast reading when needed. I still haven't worked up the motivation to read the current arc. His death in his previous life is also one of the more original I've seen. |

still think it would have been better to make him a cop or detective that's been chasing the killer for some time, rather than another random every-otaku(basing that entirely on the assumption that not-otakus in japan don't carry around arcade controllers). That would have made him more relevant to his own plot rather than just trying to make him relatable by having him like the same stuff we do.

But making him a detective or something like that would make it too out of place if he was completely useless and stupid when pursuing the guy (which I guess he is, as I have yet to see an author on narou pulling an inteligent MC and yet thrilling mistery).

Well...... He can turn into a sixteen year old. If this story follows Negima's example, just imagine how much fun and hijinks the MC could find himself in!
But yeah, other than that, I don't like reading about adolescent boys being absurdly overpowered. |

Like, I get it, this is just normal generic isekai fantasy fluff and it's not really making wrong steps here, per se; in fact I think it's a lot more palatable than many of the other works with similar premise, but...
Spoiler for irrelevant rant:

If we were going for realistic isekai babies, all stories would end by chapter 5 with deaths from starvation, monsters, or illness. Let alone the series that end at chapter -1 from miscarriages.
The harem aspect comes up way too soon and I agree half the authors who go the childhood route fail to pull it off by triggering the plot before the MC even hits puberty, though I would be pretty paranoid about training to keep myself alive in such a situation before enjoying my childhood too. I wouldn't want to be villager A who dies at the average age of 20-30 to goblins, thieves, or war.
