If you did not get all of GHDpro's post, use Media Player Classic from the CCCP to play just about anything.
And Haibane Renmei is one of the most meaningful anime I've ever watched. It's basically up to your own interpretations though, and for me: Spoiler for things you wouldn't understand if you haven't watched it anyways:

The art is really just okay. I have the DVD version and thats all i can say for it. Rather, I think Air and Five centimeter has more of a storyline to it. I think the only reason i can compare Five centimeter with Renmei is because of the "leaving friends behind" feeling they both have, Air is just plain depressing despite its awesome graphics.
However, if you look at the art as something important, I really suggest Serei no Moribito. I'm really jealous of you, Samurai Champloo rocks! Spoiler for Samurai champloo's old man/side character is actually...:

I am sure you meant to say that you are "buying" Haibane Renmei, right AznTri-Angel ? Considering the fact that it is a licensed series. You probably simply misspoke, it happens to the best of us.
Haibane Renmei is a great series, and I hope you like it. |

"A young woman quietly falls to the earth, escorted by a solitary crow. This sort of dream, as many other before have dreamed, comes just before the rebirth as a haibane, a charcoal winged angel. On the outskirts of the walled-in city lies Old Home, a haven for haibane to study, live, and learn, while waiting for their chance to ascend to the heavens, and escape the confines of their new world. Haibane Renmei follows the story of Rekka, a newly born haibane who wants nothing more than to remember her past, and to discover the secrets of her kind." - Anime-Planet (13 eps.) Quote:

I watched Claymore, one more episode then i'm finished, just to lazy to. And one episode of Monster. Monster was pretty good in the beginning, but I just stopped for some reason. The other 3, are not familiar, and i never heard of it before o.O. I'll check out the Stelvvia, but the rest, i'll probably not unless you think i should really watch it and it's really good.

I need help requesting animes=/. Anyways, just download bitcomet, bittorrent, or utorrent at download.com. Go to this website, or go to google and type in the anime's name and torrents. So like Gundam 00 torrents, etc. Then you just download it.
Looking for more animes!!! |

Eureka Seven - awesome in its message, comedy, action, romance, plot and parallel character development between an older guy and a younger guy. Not to mention it has the best OST/background music too. It's a shame that you can't get into it. It gets really good later on.
Honey and Clover - has plenty of comedy and romance. It isn't just mindless comedy, instead, originating from the characters' personalities and the clashes between those personalities. H&C also explores some great issues concerning the uncertainty of future that its target group faces (college students). The anime is hilarious, sweet, thought-provoking. It speaks straight to the heart. Genshiken - revolves around an otaku (anime loving) club at university. Hilarious when contrasting moments between Saki, the girl who dislikes anything otaku but has an otaku boyfriend just because he's handsome, and the rest of Genshiken's members. Mushishi - I wasn't going to recommend this one as you want comedy, but I saw you've watched Kino's Journey, then you might like this too. If you ask me to describe Mushishi in only one word, I'd say "beautiful". Beautiful in every aspect - animation, stories, music, atmosphere, philosophies, characters. Watching Mushishi is like making small yet very important discoveries of life. It leaves heavy emotions, as of hope, poignancy, helplessness. The humour in Mushishi is subtle and at times dry, not hilarious. It's just a very unique and different type of anime. I've seen none like it. Quote:

Eureka Seven, I watched a little but fail to like it.
Honey And Clover - The drawings were a bit iffy but the storyline was pretty good. I watched up to episode 5, i'll probably continue it. Genshiken - I'm not really an otaku so i don't really get the otaku jokes. Mushishi - I'll try this out. I watched rurouni kenshin, and onegai teacher, kannon 2006 I watched it a bit, and I don't really like Kare Kano. More recomendations plz. |
