Well, FF X to X2 is about a year too, right ? They still changed the battle system drastically though, so perhaps they will also do the same in this ?

Well, I thought that the battle system had quite a bit of promise, so I really don't want them to scrap it entirely.

That's it, I give up. I think the release of Buffy Season 9/Twilight movie 5 is more likely to come out BEFORE Versus XIII.

Actually, X-2 really isn't that terrible. It's just that, at the time, everyone hated X, and no one wanted to buy a game that 'ruined' Yuna so much anyway.

EDIT: ^and that girl on the left looks like a "Dark Lightning" to me. Hope it's not going to be something cliche like Lightning going on a journey to fight her inner demons or something -_-

It still sold like over 3.5 million copies and argubly has the best battle system in the franchise... seems a lot of people were butt hurt over its new direction.. who cares if it ruined X, X was lolz anyway...

Pretty much. If it means anything, i enjoyed X-2 a hell of a lot more then X, and would go as far as to say it has one of the best battle systems so far in the series.

So we'll see a trailer on the official site this Thursday? Awesome.

I was hoping for it to be more literal, like how Lightning has to fight an alternate version of herself.
