Well, a handful of girls tend to fawn over Kirito, but everyone knows there's only one OTP

Kawahara started working on Progressive volume 5 in his website on October 19. Since Accel World volume 22 is released on November 10th, on January 10th Progressive volume 5 will probably be released. One book Accel World or SAO is released every two months.

just read flere821's wn summary. lol what's with the biased favor towards alice and bias against asuna?
that half-assed explanation on asuna and exaggerated explanation on alice are really stupid. don't go change the context on your own and combine it with your biased interpretation.

also on unrelated note,

kirito's feeling for alice is not the same as his love for asuna.

When Kirito and Asuna get "True Love", that is at the end of SAO story

Yeah, that's why SAO is not a harem and any girls have not a chance

Sword Art Online Novels Enter 'Unital Ring' Arc
The official Twitter account for Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint noted that Volume 59 of the Dengeki Bunko magazine published the prologue chapter for the new "Unital Ring" arc of Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series on Saturday. Kawahara himself noted on Twitter that the new arc's title uses a mathematical term in the same vein as the earlier Ordinal Scale title. However, he emphasized that this does not mean that he is linking the two.
Kawahara added that the Virtual Reality Massively Multi-player Online projects that have appeared in the story thus far have evolved through Sword Art Online, ALfheim Online, and Gun Gale Online. However, the setting of the new arc has everyone starting from scratch, without Wiki websites or strategy guides.

Yeah, but it'd be nice if they added how many episodes do they plan to take with the whole of it.
I sure hope they take at least 50-52eps for the whole of it, since that much seems to be enough.

The news is not exactly accurate in the sense that the producer is Kashiwada, not Miki who is just the Dengeki editor. It was Kashiwada who wanted to cover the entire Alicization arc. Also, it is a punishment leak for an on-screen game in the stream, so I won't go as far as to say it is an ultimate confirmation. The chances are very very high but we don't know.

There is going to be a chance for it to be rushed. Kashiwada is also the producer in charge of Grancrest Senki, which got the insane rush-fuck going on now (one of the volumes was covered in one episode), because he wanted to reach the latest climax point in the series (volume 9-10).

Akasaki also asked how many cours but it wasn't revealed. So maybe it won't be just two-cour. But I won't be surprised if it is just two-cour, given what Kashiwada had been up to lately with his adaptations.

There's going to be some announcement next week.

There's probably going to be a livestream and an announcement during it.

Seems I got trolled. From the way they said during their discussion of leaks taking place earlier, I thought it would be something related to the anime. The stream this week was probably referring to the final stream on Fatal Bullet some days ago, with some new announcements on the game. But then, I didn't bother to watch the full stream anyway, so maybe there were hints *shrug*

Wouldn't it make more sense for there to be further news at the upcoming Dengeki Game Festival on March 10th?

Specifically at the Dengeki Bunko Stage which is replacing the Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival this year?

At least that's what Index fans are banking on.
