In theory, his novels about Adventure are just his own experiences (and the other characters). In the 02's epilogue, we saw how he finished writing his memories of 02.

Although we can not be sure if he is writing his memories of Tri.

At the end of Part 6, an epilogue three months after Tri's final battle happen. We can see he writing, but the spoilers aren't clear about if he was writing Tri's story or just about the changes in the last three months

Well, there's an epilogue at the end of Tri, but it's only three months after the final battle against Ordinemon.

We will see he is writing. Although the spoilers aren't totally clear. I don't know if he wrote the events in Tri or he just wrote about the changes in these three months. However, the events in Tri really happened.

Takeru has grown up and matured in 02 (especially compared to Daisuke), but he still has flaws in 02.

He isn't the only one. Hikari also has grown up and matured in 02, but she still has flaws too.

That's why I always say to have low to no expectations towards any kind of story, you're always up to be terribly disappointed in the end.
While it's true I don't follow my own advice all that much, I'm always mindful of such a thing happening...since I can be quite sarcastic
