I really liked the Card Captor anime (and the manga is pretty enjoyable too) and like the others I am also liking the pv for this series. Just ... nice! ^^

It's not THAT bad

There's a few things I'd like to ask about this "prologue", considering the point where clear card starts, but I'm not sure if I can, even with spoiler tabs.

I... have to admit I popped in my old decrepit bootleg copy of the movie just to be sure it still sounds like her.

But it sounds like here, looks like her, and those are still her skates... childhood memories intensifies.

Don't. Just don't. Just do a good sequel. No more remake of something that's already near-perfect.

Instead, use that money and resources to adapt hundreds of other great manga titles out there that are crying for anime adaptations.

I rewatched the series a few weeks ago and can definitely confirm Sakura sounds exactly the same. There'll be no problem for Yukito either, but I don't know about the other characters' voice actors.

What're you talking about? From the chapters I've read Syaoran is very much present. He's not as big of a role as in the first series so far, but he's there and always watching her, trying to support her in any way he really can in her new trial.

On a different note, loved that they kept the original Sakura. Here's hoping all the other original VAs come back for this beauty. Everything looks great. They even got Sakura just right, aged ever so slightly, perfect amount for someone who's gone from 11 in the last movie to 12 here.

Also, yeah, I kind of hope this never gets dubbed. We have two CCS dubs and both were just insulting. The first tried to erase some of the biggest plot points (and Kids WB then finished the job by literally butchering the whole thing), and the second frankly just grates my ears and decides to make unnecessary adjustments that make later events seem really weird.
