-How childish and retarded are/develop most love relationships in anime, that really puts me off.
-Someone above 13 talking likes this nyaaa!nya!(u know like a cat)
-Maid outfits
-Oversized Breasts (Is it really necessary to always have an anime character with humongous breasts?)

- When shoujo series have that sparkly blushing moment in EVERY chapter/episode. It annoys me.
- When any person in a series DOES NOT NOTICE SOMEBODY ELSE LIKES THEM WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS.
- The usual happy-go-lucky determined "'l'll throw my own life away to save every person I come across." standard shounen protagonist.
- Bad endings
- Rude anime fans/haters
- Damsels in distress
- Some overdone fanservice

Well bad endings are not only in anime

I actually like them
But it also depends on the show and how it was progressing throughout the whole thing that lead to such ending.
I'm more disatisfied with way TOO happy endings, Mai HiME could be one of good examples even though it is one of my most favorite shows.

Cliche , Typical Anime , lame male lead , lame romance , start to piss me off but when they aren't many of them then it's still ok to watch .

By "bad endings" I mean endings that do not conclude the plot and leave things hanging, or just make everyone watching go WTF. For example, Pandora Hearts, CANAAN, I haven't seen it but I heard Evangelion, etc.

The other "bad end" I also like if it's not too sudden. If the anime crew just decides to kill everyone off I'd be seriously annoyed.

- Un-neccasary fanservice
- Series' void of male characters
- VERY unrealistic situations brought into realistic settings
- Pointless characters
- Exaggerated romance
- Unrealisticly attractive women
- Fangirls and fanboys

Some of these are exceptions from time to time, but those are a few things about Japanese media arts that tick me off occasionally.

Ah, now I get your idea better,

Angel Beats sadly has a very rushed ending.

I hate how...
- lots of anime follows roughly the same style, without any originality to make it interesting
- as a corollary to the above, how lots of good opportunities for jokes or plot twists are avoided in favor of keeping with some generic style.
- Female characters often look completely like little kids and sound like them too.
- Following this, there are many animes where the art style looks like someone who couldn't draw made it.
- too many bright colors in war animes, especially mech ones.
- the way anime treats war and combat in general. and too many ubermechs that follow a generic pattern.
- not enough good animes are made, and the ones that are good sometimes don't get the recognition they deserve (like Monster).
- Anime conventions, reminding you who else it is that shares your hobby. I wont elaborate.
- the fact that anime is almost all made in japan, severely limiting its diversity. (Japan is cool and all but it would be interesting to see how other countries do it)

Hanging Ending/ Lack of Acceptable Conclusions....

Who would not get frustrated after watching a "great anime" then leaves you question marks and not even making a continuation in the manga or LVs...

Bahahaha, this one's so true it hurts. I even find myself yelling at the characters with full knowledge that they won't hear me.

Things that I've shouted:
- "She likes you, you dumbass!"
- "It's a trap!"
- "She's crying, do something!"

Et cetera, et cetera. It's always some idiot guy poncing about with girls literally clinging off of his pants and he goes around throwing them to the ground or wondering why he's so alone.

Aside from that, I hate pointless fanservice, empty characters, insanely cliched jokes, and an overall lack of effort in production. I don't ask for much in my anime, I would just like to feel like the producers gave a damn and that they know the basics of what separates a show that attracts via originality and one that is purely made to sucker in anyone who drools at the sight of bouncing breasts.

Their slapstick. They can't seem to understand what it is about slapstick that makes it funny.

Their "Checklist Approach" in the way they are catering characters, plot, premise based on various otaku fetishes.

Had this been 2 years ago, I would have just said "I hate anime"

But then I learn there was bad anime to be hated, rather than labeling it all in one swoop.

-Constantly waiting on episodes
-Weird romance (Like there's already a guy/girl destined for him/her from the beginning)
-good storyline then turning into bad ending

OPs. I can't stand 99.99% of OPs. I cringe whenever I'm forced to sit through one.

In general, I'd agree that the industry's dependence on popular stereotypes and tropes is rather tiresome, but that can be found in just about every other entertainment medium, so it's not really unique.

For me, I somewhat dislike the industry's fixation on adaptations. Of course, I'm not saying that adaptations are bad. In fact, it's quite the opposite, as most of my favorites are adaptations of popular manga and light novels. It's just that I sometimes find works that could have been good, but were restricted by the source material's limitations. Finding anime without a satisfactory conclusion because it's source material hasn't ended is quite common. Of course, I understand that such things are done to set up a potential future season, but I believe that the source and the adaptation should each be enjoyed on their own merits.

In short, I believe that adaptation should only be a means to an end rather than an end in itself.
