um hum its going to be a while before we see any type of romance between the two. Im sure there will be many many misunderstandings in the process. Which will make for some great humor. What im curious about is Luke has he always been this way or did something happen. Sometimes when the camera focuses on his eyes i cant help but to sense a kind of sadness or longing.

My lunatic observation...

Luke #1

LUKE #2

Both are have low competencies when it comes to women.

Both are fairly decent swordsmen.

Both can get their sword weapons to glow and light up and do miraculous things.

Both have short, pointy eared, non-human people helping them out.

Both have some mystical power about them and a plot convenient past.

Did I miss anything ?

I know.. I know. I'm not expecting it the next episode or anything. And they don't have to get all formal and get married.. just some romance. Every story needs some romance.

It's so troperrific and katanas are weapon version of Mary Sue!

... My guilty pleasure, that is. While watching this show i can laugh at myself, having played too much JRPGs over the years that i can immediately recognize all tropes played here without even trying. I wonder whether that's a good thing or a bad thing...

Well, it's been forever and a day since the last time I watched a Star Wars movie (even more so if you account for the original trilogy) whereas Tales of the Abyss is still fresh in my head.

There's this thing i realize: If Cecily's breast plate was tailored to exactly fit her boobs, doesn't that means the blacksmith had his or her way with her before?

On the other hand, the sheer awesomeness of katanas has spawned the new meme of KATANAH (as in, GITAH). This new meme makes my otherwise gloomy day.

I'm still struggling to understand how it mcould possibly be seinen. Ther must be a lot of gore and nudity in the manga.

Will most likely be censored in the anime.
