AWESOME!!! Hirano your the man! Damn this guy is good with guns, his character development is just too good and his lines are just perfect at the needed situation. Takashi may be the main character, but this guy takes the scene whenever he's got a gun.

Except in this instance it was two shots each in one zombie's head. I do hope they explain why Hirano is god like with his shooting skills. Boy is everyone going to jizz their pants when they hear why. I did kind of but only when I first read it in the manga.

A quick check confirmed that the person who directed Ep5, Yuuji Kumazawa, was also responsible for Ep2, so it's no surprise that the "boinging" sound effects are back, along with the return of gratuitous panty shots. I guess Kumazawa enjoys his echi very much. Some may enjoy it, but the overdose of slapstick cheapened the drama overall, I feel.

(As for the bespectacled zombie "killed" at the very beginning, if he was indeed that certain Korean star, I say good riddance! I've always hated that incredibly overhyped "auntie killer" — he's the epitome of everything I abhor about sappy K-drama.)

The animation quality seems to have taken a dip this episode, while the three separate story threads diluted the overall impact of the narrative. The fight scene was fairly well adapted, though, making full use of the medium to play up the team's reunion. It's a bit over-the-top but, heck, that's hardly incongruous in a B-grade zombie show.

And I'm sure everyone has his or her own favourite hero in this episode, from "double tap" Hirano to "g-string" Saeko. Mine, as ever, remains "death from above" Rei, who is just so adorable when she's jealous.

Next week, Chapter 6 already. Mmmmmm....

Weakness though he's not good at fighting unlike our other guy and gals.

Wait a minute....Sensei doesn't fight....yet. So Driving, curing wounds and fanservice is her activity here.

Takagi though drilled one zombie in the 2nd episode.

The battle scene at the end was full of cheese but still pretty awesome. Hirano and Saeko kick ass! Shido was hilarious as ever, he always tries so hard to be fabulous. It looks like his bullshitting is working pretty well on those guys though.

I'm very pleased with Rika's voice, it fits perfectly. I can't wait to see more of her.

Next episode is the one a lot people have been waiting for. Hopefully, the censorship won't be too bad. The preview looked promising...
