A LOT of talking this episode which means it will take a little longer for the subs to come out.

Can anyone please just give us some brief points on the conversations?

yeah but we assumed that was because the flag lacked the technology like the Gundams to suppress G forces. After the Feds got GN Drives I thought getting your body torn up by g forces was a thing of the past...

Short summary

Hercule controls the elevator and holds the normal citizens there, so when A-LAWS sends the automaton, the citizens will realize that A-LAWS is eVIL and doesn't care about slaughtering citizens. However, A-LAWS is one step ahead. Using video edit (probably thanks to Veda), A-LAWS manipulates the info and the coup de'tat group slaughtering the citizens appears on tv. Hercule's plan fails. And then the A-LAWS fat dude aims the second Memento Mori at the elevator (or the citizens who are leaving the elevator, not too sure as the stream was bad)

And the 00 Raiser VS Masurao. You can probably guess what happens. 00 Raiser goes Trans-Am and draws with Masurao. Setsuna's arm is hurting while Mr. Bushido is coughing blood. He retreats when Ptolemy and the 3 Gundam arrive to support.

so it might be true that the masurao might just be a retrofitted GN Flag, since graham was seen coughing up blood .

(Consider that the "base frame" of the masurao is identical to the flag)

My standard poorly written summary summary:

Spoiler for Episode 16 in hyaaah:

- Starts with Hercules making an announcement about having taking control of the orbital elevator
- Shows Sergei's reaction to the coup d'etat, it is revealed that his wife was in the military as well
- Fun thought: In a flashback it shows Sergei, his wife, and Hercules sitting on a bench. Why is it in every flashback people are always sitting on benches?
- Sergei receives a call from the head of the ESF military
- Nina Trinity asks Wang Liu Ming about how the Innovators will react
- Celestial Being discusses how they should react top the coup d'etat
- A-Laws sorties Aheads with automaton containers attached to their backs
- Automatons break into the elevator and hack into their network
- In the elevator, they detect another MS incoming, revealing it to be the Tieren Taozi, painted in blue. Sergei is shown to be the pilot. Hercules sends GN-XIIIs to escort it.
- Louise and Andrei are shown talking, and in a flashback it is shown that Andrei met Hercules as well when he was in the military. When Hercules compliments his father, Andrei spews back with the "my mother would still be alive if not for him" bit.
- Sergei meets and speaks with Hercules
- Like halfway through this conversation I am STILL wondering what the hell Setsuna and Bushido are doing
- The automatons are breaking through into a section of the orbital elevator filled with civilians
- The coup'ers are trying to load all of the civilians onto the trains and send them back down to Earth
- It is shown that the media on Earth are broadcasting images of the people being killed by the automatons (without showing the automatons) and saying the coup'ers are killing the civilians
- Okay, seriously, what the hell are Setsuna and Bushido up to?
- OH SHIT BACK TO THE 00 RAISER
- ...and they're replaying the entire scene from the end of the last ep...
- Fighting...

- AHA! TRANS-AM!!!
- Bushido absolutely wailing on 00 Raiser...
- Setsuna is clearly being pained by his GN gunshot wound
- Turns out that it can produce a full GN Field
- 00 Raiser goes Trans-Am
- The other three Gundams arrive in Trans-Am as the Masurao and 00 Raisers Trans-Am expires
- The 00 Raiser starts to fall out of the sky but Lockon and Allelujah catch Setsuna.
- The ED is playing. WTF I WAS JUST TROLLED. I WATCHED THAT ENTIRE EP OF TALKING JUST TO HAVE IT BE ONE MINUTE AT THE END OF BUSHIDOOOO.
- After the credits it shows that there is a massive troop movement to the bottom of the elevator, but troops are leaving.
- Shows Sumeragi, Hercules, and Kati concluding their actions at the same time... There is another Momento Mori, preparing to fire at the orbital elevator.

so Saji is the 00's pilot now that setsuna is in regenerative treatment? Does 00 even have a Haro port? Hopefully Haros have good AI and can pilot a MS effectively or 00 is doomed.

Nup its to do with the fact that the Masurao has the same cockpit as the flag and is a flag . No seriously, its got the old union-type cockpit.

Billy Probably did that because the flag's frame is so light. I wonder if the armour of the masurao can come off to reveal a flag underneath? I mean its got the same head (under the samurai armour), the same legs (look from the rear of the MS but except for the foot), same arms (same type of arms, except with samurai spikes). Full of awesomeness.
