THANK YOU GOD!! Another decent-and-intelligent person who remembers that people who are rich enough to whine about WWII through a big-budget-movie EVERY-summer for 66 years are NOT THE ONLY VICTIMS of the Holocaust. (HUUUGS Malkuth)

And a special reminder to the MILLIONS of innocent physically disableds, mentally-retarded and homosexual/lesbian/bisexuals murdered by Hitler in WWII. If hollywood had its way, their EQALLY VALID tragedy would be PERMANENTLY kept in a dark-and-quiet corner and forgoten in favor of yet ANOTHER epic of the "only" victims of the Holocaust.

By the way, what is CP?

That latest episode reminds me of Fast and the Furious. Love the racing girls though and I thought it was Grand Theft Auto for a moment until I realize they're in a race.

I'm guessing that Rider would be on a pushbike again...
And who else wants a smoking Tousaka!

Rider is using a motorcycle by the way she's dressed (reminds me of Aki Izayoi in YGO 5Ds). Last time she rode a bike, she got smashed by Berserker in episode 5 when he slipped on Gilgamesh like a banana peel

Oh yeah!! I forgot about that, haha. I bet it'll be in the third season, they probably needed time to animate it.

In this particular case though, I agree with Endless Twilight. It's a fiction. Sakura is not real, so of course you can make fun of her. I've played the game, I sympathized with her plight, yet I still found that parody hilarious. Of course, anybody is free not to find it funny if they don't like that kind of humor. However, if they don't find it funny because their tragic waifu is made fun of... that's a bit scary.

Heaven's Feel? Yeah, no. Writers shouldn't need to be worried about not crossing lines when it comes to making fun of pure fiction. Especially when they're the very same ones that wrote the story that's being parodied in the first place.

Now, HF was my favourite arc (storytelling-wise), because it presented that fucked up situation tastefully (yet not graphically enough for my likes), while taking clearly a certain stance on the subject. The same is also true for CP, but from a completely different (if not opposite) perspective; where HF took a more feminist (with the original meaning of the term, not the degenerated modern one), while CP stood clearly on the modern, yet tradition-bound asian societal outlook.
*shrugs* I don't really know. I just figured some people might think it's distateful to parody a serious issue (but then there's lots of funny black humor) If I were to think of it, I don't think it's the fact that they're playing it laughs, but rather that they're playing it for laughs after playing it for drama. I could understand if people just thought it weird. Kind of like a Too Soon feeling but not quite.

Talking about terminology, yes the holocaust was a tragic thing, dwarfed by the crimes committed against gypsies, communists, poles, serbians, and greeks... as well as the gang-rapes, mass murders, etc. committed by the winners and their experiments that were carried out by them and their former enemies during and after that war. One (but definitely not the only) of the reasons all these are very close to repeat themselves again (for a third time) is that people don't want to cross those lines and stay comfortable in their transient little worlds
...

(Not even gonna ask)

Hm, never found parodies of comedic issues very interesting

The Sakura episode needed one last touch to be overkill fun to me. A dramatic enka music, like the one you heard in Kill Bill vol. 1. Oh well, I guess playing that song while watching this bit should suffice. The fact that they played the Sakura's Cosette Effect up to eleven and beyond made a tragic situation narmtastically hilarious instead.

But really, my favorite bits of the whole series so far are Berserker's errand run, and Caster finally earning her happy end, in despite of her creepy stalker tendencies.

Is there any other series where a dish looks like it's the stuff that goes into the toilet but tastes like Heaven, like the Ramen that Babbles the Nodding Cat made?

I'm pretty sure I've made things that look bad but taste great.
Usually it happens because you mix up a step and combine something (usually a sauce) early so the color of a thing goes brown or grey. The food is almost exactly the same, just it looks awful (since you were suppose to add the sauce later to preserve the colors).

Try Blood Soup.
Starts out looking like an episode of School Days
After cooking looks like something Mizuki Himenji made (Glowing Black)

Tastes pretty good however (maybe acquired taste)
