It can be as easy or as hard as the writers wish such a transition to be. For example, you could just retcon the realities into one by just ignoring the things that made them different. Or they could take a Power Girl route and just have Kara (and Cat) be the last survivors of their original reality, with some sort of big bad turning up that requires Flash, Green Arrow and all the Legends to help Kara defeat it. Or, hell, just start over from scratch, and make this Kara the naturally occurring Kara from the CW dimension.

Whatever the case, despite my general enjoyment of the series (which had at least 2 great episodes and 6 good ones), it's obvious that the series needs to be retooled if all involved want it to survive.

The CW has on average for their shows 66% less budget than CBS for their shows. With this in mind you can guess that a lot of the cast is likely not gonna stick around as series regulars. I'm guessing at the start of season 2 something is gonna happen to make Supergirl come to Flash's Earth. They're also moving the shooting to Vancouver, a completely different area so you can almost guarantee that's what's gonna happen. Unless they give no explanation as to why places look different.

^^Meanwhile they kill off everyone on Arrow especially the Suicide Squad which was supposed to be a big part of the show especially with Diggle and Lilas' connection to Argus.

... I always thought the real reason was because they didn't have the budget to either pay the actor to play Superman and/or the rights to actually use Superman. Though I assume the latter has never been an actual problem, and I'm just thinking of the Fox/Marvel debacle.

They are just affraid he could steal her spotlight.

If they cast a cool Superman, people will wanna see HIS show since he's the real deal.

And if they nerf him to make her look badass, then it's the whole franchise that suffers since he's the flagship.

Old news. Nice to actually see it though. I will agree that he looks a bit off, though. A little too "pretty", I guess. Last time I saw cheeks that sunken, it was flipping past America's Top Model. One thing the MoS movies got absolutely right is that they made Clark look like a Kansas farmboy. They even had him in a beard in the first one (the horror!). This guy, not so much.

But hey. It's the CW. If their heartthrobs don't all look the same (except for Grant Gustin, but he's supposed to be a geek), people will get confused and stop watching. What are you going to do?

I do like the suit. Wish they'd brought back the red speedos though. Never have liked the unitard look.
