Serious guilty pleasures this time

As much as I hate synthesizer sound .. Kate Bush D:
Specially her originals "Running up that Hill" (love the Placebo cover too) and "This Woman's work". Oldies so to speak, but damn she's such a good songwriter.

Spoiler for videos:

Youtube is actually busy deleting all of her original songs at the moment. Shame.

This cover of "This Woman's work" is beautiful, too. But I like Bush's version still better - has more passion. And well, since it is about a woman in labor her desperte outcrying just seems to fit better than his calm approach.

Spoiler for cover vid:

I usually identify as a metalhead. You know, I like Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, At the Gates, Sepultura, Soulfly, Demetori, Iron Attack etc.

So, a guilty pleasure would be everything K-On! :P I just can't get enough of it

Pink Room ft Antonia - Roses on Fire

Antonia Roses on Fire

You know me I just like to fly
Just touch my body and don`t ask me why
You know me I just like to fly
But it`s true, I Like You

And only you can make me high
Just touch my heart girl and do it right
You know me, I just like it high
And it`s true, I like you

You know girl what I feel for you is Love and Desire
Tonight I will show that is true, my Blood is on fire

And only You... And only You
And only You... And only You
And only You... And only You

Gucci Mane- Lemonade. I have no idea what this song means, is supposed to mean or whether it means anything at all. Plus, I can't understand what the heck Gucci is even trying to say. But... it's just too darn catchy!

H.I.M. One Last Time

H.I.M. One Last Time

Is it so hard to believe our hearts
Are made to be broken by love
That in constant dying
The beauty of it all
My darling won't you feel
The sweet heaven in
Our endless Cry

Oh at least you could try
For this One last Time

So amazed how bright are the flames
We are burning in
Ever smiled at the tragedies
We hold inside
My darling won't you cherish
The fear of life that keeps
You and me so alive

Oh at least you could try
For this one last time
It could be alright
For this one last time

Oh at least you could try
And we just will be Closer
For this One Last Time
Let me fall into your Arms
It could be alright
Don't let us grow colder
For this one last time
Let me Close to your Heart

Tell your mom that most of the music we have today wouldn't exist without classical music .

I don't really have any guilty pleasures as I don't like to take any notice of labels that go with music. In truth I think that's why I started listening to a lot of foreign music; people around me simply didn't have an opinion on it before they heard it through me so I could form my own unbiased opinions. I listen to plenty of bands and artists that could certainly be considered guilty pleasures by a lot of people and I understand that, but I'm just not really ashamed of anything I listen to anymore really.

Lykke Li - Until We Bleed

Lykke Li - Until We Bleed

I'm naked
I'm numb
I'm stupid
I'm staying
And if Cupid's got a gun,
then he's shootin'

Lights black
Heads bang
You're my drug
We live it
You're Drunk, you need it

Real love, I'll Give it
Real love, I'll Give it

So we're bound to linger on
We drink the fatal drop
Then love until we bleed
Then fall apart in parts

Doors slam
Lights black
You're gone
Come back
Stay gone
Stay clean

I need You to need Me
I need You to need Me

Bonnie Pink is my guilty pleasure. I love all nine of her albums, and it's so different--a sort of folksy blues-pop--from everything else I listen to (mostly electronic, metal, industrial and dark ambient).

I'm also quite fond of chillout, especially with female vocals, but I haven't been able to find much that I really like. Too much chillout sounds like bad Sonic the Hedgehog remixes.

Dude this is not a "what are you listening to right now" thread, those get deleted when they get posted.

"O Brother, Where art thou" Soundtrack. I absolutely loath anything country, blue grass, etc. However, I love this soundtrack it throws my family off when they see it amongst my collection.
