THE MINERAL THAT OVERRIDES ALL!

That is all.

Actually no. It was the combined psychotic science of SaintX, a little bit of Lowe, and me.

What does it suppose to do? If its worth it, I might consider replacing Tronium with Tromberium.

It does everything Tiberium and Tronium can do, AND MOAR.

Plus it's so awesome that it overrides EVERYTHING.

Within reason, of course. Tromberium is not oppressive, just GAR.

1: Generally "Usoda" or more appropriately "うそだ" in hiragana, usually means "No way"

2: I have no idea

Besides it not really computing... I can't figure out who the one is in the bottom left corner. It can't be Nanoha - she doesn't have purple eyes o.O

They also ALL have odd eyes

This Khrack was created by Ilya's Nanoha/Lyrical Night Crack:
Spoiler for Saber:
Yes I know this is godh4xxing, but its meant for a Nasuverse, so cut me some slack.

Btw, this is the original Kha der Kleriker plot-progressed to completion, had I never stepped into Outer Cadia. You can judge for yourself how different the Kha now is from this Kha.

Well, here's the next chapter, thanks for betaing go to PhoenixG and Aaron008R. Especially to PhoenixG for helping me hammer one scene into order.

After reading the comments on the last chapter, i changed the format again. Now there's an empty line everytime someone talks.

Oh, and this is the longest chapter so far, with 6800 words, have fun.

previous chapters: index post

Spoiler for Chapter 4:

There you go, comments?
Poor Ursus... I'll make sure that I never piss off any towers I see

Looking forward to the next part. I had my suspicions when you had Alicia in the story. Should be good to see how this plays out

The flashback is dark, very dark but I like it.

Good continuation with the story here. Looking forward to when the next part is completed On the matter of scars, the first is from the fusing of the logia to him, and the second is from Fate kicking his ass when he was still a rogue member? Am I right

His spell list should be up by the end of the night, or tomorrow morning at the latest, along with the details of his device.

EDIT: Page claim in the name of the Helix Knights!
Hmm doesn't seem too bad. No inconsistencies that I can see in the background/ device so no problems over all. Spell list please?

Eheheheh.... the spell list is taking a bit longer than I'd anticipated. So far I've only got three spells worked out.

Area Search EX: One of Rex’s most-used spells, and one of his most useful. Area Search performs as it usually does, scanning the surrounding area via magical pulses which read the environment and display things the mage wishes to see. With assistance from Distant Echo, Rex commonly uses this to scan the structural integrity of a target building and locate weak points or key support structures. Alternatively, an aimless pulse of this spell will read the surrounding environment and provide Rex with a map of the immediate area, which displays on the HUD on the inside of his goggles. Used together with Barret Seeker, the gathered data can be used to steer Rex's spells down corridors, up stairways, and around obstacles to attack weakpoints in the structure while safely outside the building or targets out of Rex's line of sight.

Feather Fall: A slow-fall spell which acts as a magical parachute when Rex leaps or falls from high places. Has saved him from many a close scrape with gravity.

Lighting: An extremely basic D-rank spell which produces a small ball of light. Rex usually creates one of these in Distant Echo’s barrel, allowing him to see in dark areas as if he’d bolted on a tactical flashlight. Rex typically only uses this when his goggles are rendered inoperable by environmental conditions.

I'm trying to give him an array of miscellaneous spells to make him good for a few more things than just sniping, and my mind is stuck on a Hotwire spell which would allow him to hijack virtually any vehicle short of starfighters and battleships.

Yeah, I know it doesn't fit his character or his purpose as a sniper too well, but I watched Goldeneye again recently and I can't get the St. Petersburg tank chase out of my head.

I have three points:

ONE: You are NOT Forgotten! I read it...just no time to comment. I WILL do so though, rest assured, along with the 20 odd pages of backlog that now plague me.

TWO: Yep, colorful titles help

THREE: I'm posting my own thing soon anyway, so I'll take this point of yours in deep mind

Xena, signing off, for now.

A fifty calibur sized round with the explosive force of a grenade?

I suggest you learn what it feels like to throw and have hand grenades detonate near you before you talk about blast power.

As an example, the shock force coming off an M-67 (Typical US antipersonele fragmentation hand grenade) will set a car alarm off on a yellow mustang parked up the hill a quarter mile away. (personal experience, I had to run up that hill and noted a yellow Mustang that belonged to the Range Cadre. Every time a grenade went off, so did his car alarm... )

This same hand grenade has an absolute kill radius of five meters. (15 feet), or about the size of a garage. (This is the "YOU WILL be reduced to shredded flesh, reguardless." absolute kill radius.)

This is from an object that is about grapefruit sized, filled with high explosive, and encased in fragmenting metal.

So what you've given this mage, is a high-explosive magic autocannon in all but actual name and design. Or an automatic grenade launcher.

I say you got a bit too much bang for the Barret Shell, given its size and ease of use in 'easily formed and fired in rapid succession'.

Review things like Armor Piercing Incindiary bullets to find a good starting point for power scaling.

I could see grenade level force with a charge time, but not rapid succession pop-shots I seem to feel you're implying.
