amnesia is pretty much the worst route this story can take. by legitimately killing Fuuka off, it leaves massive room for character development across all the characters.

I hadn't considered that Tama died too, and Nico left because of it. but that'd be an interesting parallel with Yuu perhaps not making the same mistakes Nico did.

Depending on how Seo handles this, it could indeed be an interesting parallel...or a massive cliche.

Well romance isnt a good cure for this kind of development as it would only leave a bitter taste unless Yuu's a playeah. So Ill go with YuuXMikasa route until they fulfill Fuuka's dream of going to the stage. And probably ending with Shelly.

I would love to see this manga steer clear of romance totally and go in another direction. It would indeed be something new Seo Kouji has never done.

Cross Over didn't really have any romance so it's not exactly new. This isn't really a good story to use that approach on though.

Not really unless you want a brooding and sulking protagonist for the rest of the story. Music will only take the story so far with the memories of Fuuka always hanging over him.

No he can get over it and just focus on music and other things instead of brood. You can move on from tragedy without romance.

Hassou Tobi Member Join Date: Nov 2011	Spoiler for Spoilers for Ao Haru Ride ch. 46: I was terrified that Sakisaka Io was pulling a Seo, but as it turns out, she pulled an anti-Seo. There was a car accident, there was drama, but it was resolved very quickly and brought the characters even closer together. I wonder if it was a "fuck you" towards Seo?
