But yes, Chiho is more suited to being a negotiator. It really is kind of difficult trying to picture her fighting.

The author is just trying to develop a character who would otherwise be mundane compared to everyone else.

As for recharging holy energy, I'm still not quite sure whether positive emotion recharges it or not. It was never explicitly shown to work that way. At least it never got the chance to, since Emeralda provided Emi a new method of recharging her power.

Though, I'd like to think that it does, just not as quickly as negative feelings recharging magic.

The difference is that,
Positive feelings are difficult to acquire in large amount when compared to,
Negative feeling, because it's easier to induce panic / anger to large number of people at once.

To make an analogy,
Negative feeling = restores mana in one big shot
Positive feeling = restores small amount of mana over time

To be clear, is Layla a regular Angel or is she something of an Ultimate Tier namely named Archangel?

Why are people making it sound impossible for Chiho to survive in Ente Isla anyway? From what we've heard and seen, magic is more accessible and abundant there. There's no telling what she or any other human can do in a different world.

Oh it's just how I write her name ライラ. I've never actually seen her name written in English. Chances are the one you found is the correct way to spell her name.

From now on I'll follow the name Laylah with the 'h' at the end, and I've corrected all the spellings in my replies from before.

Seems strange however, the link I posted said that Laylah is not maternal, bringer of destruction, and wastes seed or potential. From the information you gave us, the Layla in story is in fact Maternal, she doesn't seek destruction, and she sees the value of things that has potential. Complete opposites?
