Since I've started playing the PC version of CS4 to see the "wrechted fairy tale" to an end, I'll push this topic because I don't want to "misuse" the Kuro one for it.

As usual(?) just general impressions.

Spoiler for Up to Act 3:

- Voice Acting has overall remained solid. I'm not 100% happy with the Bright trio, but tbf, I only have the Zero Evolution and normal Ao jp voices as a basis. Joshuas deeper voice was kinda unexpected at first compared to his softer jp tone, but I'm sure it will be fine later on.
I didn't notice it in CS3, but Ozzys voice has this weird mix of old and deep, wheras Black Alberich sounds great. Roselia's VA is also quite good :3.

- Nice seeing (some of) the Thors alumni out and acting, though I totally forgot the name of fotune teller girl at first

She sounds kinda like a creepy dude with the laugh lol. Seeing two scenes with Rean suffering was kinda eyerolling, but eh... gotta show that the drama's real. Good job, Falcom

. Moving on, Musse's prediction skill is downright scary, esp. since she had it since she's been a child. Nontheless, she's grown to me. Climax was the ususal fight and be saved... I mean, given the bosses, that's not too much of a surprise. At least some of them acknowledged Class VIIs growth

- End of Act 2: The climax was great, but I kinda prefered the jp voice-acting. Again, Osborne souds like Old Guy Xehanort; too old for the formers intimidating persona imho. CS3 was quite good with his VA.
- Huge infodump after part 1 act 3: Celine is so adorable <3. Surprisingly Ishmelga's EN voice sounds more sinister than his rather whimsical tone in JP *lol*. Lianne's awesome full stop. Too bad that bad stuff is going to happen *sniff*. Hearing (and seeing) Milium and Valimar brought a bunch of tears in my eyes.

- Combat-wise, the game was quite bitchy on Normal xD. Enemies loaded with status effects or the big enemies in Avon Hill with their charge attack were scary as heck. They wiped the floor with me until I had enough and avoided them, haha. Randy helped a lot with his crafts during Day 1, though! It's iffy that a downed but revived ally before the fight ends gets sometimes? less xp, but I remember that being the cases in other titles as well. Guess I'm too indecisive in what quartz to give.

- I want to slap the person who thought it'd be funny to add bonus AP to the last boss battle in Fragments. That fight was beastly with boss 1 and their huge AoE craft and random status aliments and hardly being fast enough to interrupt it in time... Being tosses around like a tennis ball didn't help much either >_>.

- OST has been quite nice. Eryn's background music is very beautiful! It strongly reminds me somehow of Ys Seven's "Lost Harmony Among People".
