The characters in this manga aren't Japanese, though. So I'm not sure if that applies--even with the author being Japanese.

So Stark stayed in the party because of Fern (also Frieren, but seems to be mainly because of Fern)? I hope their relationship gets better soon, then.

Wow, the hero of the south really was super impressive. Battling all seven sages of destruction and killing 3 of them before he perishes? Damn, bro! Frieren really was a hero magnet despite being a forest hermit. xD

That's not exactly how it worked. While early teens was legally acceptable age for marriage, especially commoners wouldn't be able marry that early unless their family was well of.

On another note lot of people think in medieval times most folk didn't live past 50, but that's just because average life expectancy was brought down by massive numbers of mortality among infants.

Tbf they let their guard down over probably several hundreds of thousands of years whereas those human villages come and go in like 30 years, a blink of the eye so to say. But yeah, we saw 3 elves so far and no one is interested in starting a family. The Elf species is doomed.

I wanna learn more about this world though. Like I wanna see the cities of dwarves, I wanna know more about their faith or past heroes or other magical animals and plants and gems. This world got so much to offer and yet each chapter only delivers a little bit here and there and sometimes not even that, it is a bit frustrating...

With humans, there's always one more village. Blink and a new one will sprout up. But it feels like a single mimic could maybe eliminate 33% of the whole Elven race.
