As for Ruby saying that Weiss's attack wouldn't have done anything, that was clearly an insult, no more grounded in reality than the barbs that Weiss directed at Ruby in earlier episodes. In short, she's stooped to Weiss's level.

Ruby was talking about herself, not the monsters.

OTOH regardless of the critics against Weiss, she was right on commenting at Ruby's
bad traits. When Ruby sensed the monsters and she went without alerting the team,
there is a problem with her. It looks like that whatever the education she receives
from, supposedly Signals Academy, wasn't focus on team works.

It's again fun to see Weiss preparing herself in front of the monsters, not having
done that when Jaune was talking with Ozpin. I think it means not all Beacan
students are as equally good as Ruby and Pyrra; Jaune shows the case of one of
the average student, and Weiss is apparently better.

Jaune isn't average. He's far below that. Even the basics elude him. How he's there in the first place is still unknown.

By your own terms Weiss is also below standard. But, perhaps the variation
is big enough among the students so some may know something that's
important to them and some just don't have to.

Then again, perhaps the reason Ozpin was not worried about throwing him off like that was because of his healing ability :P

If Pyra genuinely likes Jaune and isn't just interested in his supposed potential then I'd have to wonder why. What exactly does she see in him otherwise? If she actually has a thing for dorky guys then fair enough, but I can't help but think that there's some sort of hidden past between the two.

He's tall, not ugly, not fat, and blond. What more could a seventeen year old girl want? Brains? Not necessary. Trying to figure out what girls see in guys (or what guys see in girls) is a futile occupation.

Methinks you've been watching too many Japanese harem anime romcoms that have at least one (if not more) childhood friend that the dorky MC has forgotten all about. Gosh, golly, gee whiz, I hope that this does not turn out to be the case here with Pyrrah and Jaune.

By whom? The Professor? Or maybe his family has sent him off to this school to get rid of him for four years, but has also hired her secretly to make sure he actually survives?

The thing is, like Nora, we don't know anything about Jaune's fighting abilities. He may be a complete klutz with his sword, or, in the face of danger, he may turn out to be a class act. We just don't know, yet. It wouldn't be the first time that an otherwise dorky idiot type guy turned out to be an amazing fighter, plus getting all the girls in the end (Photon the Idiot being the classic example).

I usually use pixiv to see if something is gaining popularity and from the looks of it there lots of RWBY art.

Just saw the latest episode. Starting to like the Jaune and Pyrrha, these two compliment each other, one is highly skilled while the other is weak, but with a latent potential with the aura.

Blake and Yang seem to get along, typical with Ruby and Wiess not getting along and other cool fight scenes from the other characters which are there just to be cool and a love team lol

I want to know that too, i think that it will be difficult to know... we only get the netizen reactions but those are not very legit... btw there is a lot of yuri "Ruby x Weiss" it seems that people love the pairing lol...
