Feels a bit too stretched out. The peripheral information seems pointless and more headache inducing. The fact that they programmed the AI not to hit you while they're offscreen actually becomes moot as you generally focus on the middle screen and the enemies will wail at you once they get on either side screen. In hindsight this may solve that enemies won't attack problem. Though the rescaling's biggest issue is that the camera seems to follow the character too closely. Similar problem to rising apparently.

Actually, the level of immersion that you gain by adding the extra resolution is something that is very hard to describe until you see it for yourself. You won't feel comfortable going back to a single screen once you have played with 3 monitors. Some games will feel claustrophobic, specially any FPS.
Not all games are optimized for multiple monitors and the hardware requirements are considerably higher; you need at least a 7850 with 2gb of video memory and a phenon 1090t or equivalent. The following video is recorded with fraps in eyefinity and you can see how the image looks more clearly: Back on topic: I finished the DLC "Vergil's Demise". I found it a little too short but it was fun... the story was a big cliche though.

It still gives me a headache. These types of games really aren't great when you pull the screen like that. The immersion is different from when you play a racing game or FPS. for these types of games you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times so your senses are stretched a lot. This translates into headaches really. Ofcourse yolu can always just pay attention to the middle portion but that kills the necessity of the side screens. Racing games make you feel more immersed but again, I don't really feel the need. Maybe they work like letting you see the car running beside you, I don't really know. FPS will easily let you know which enemy is shooting at you faster. Why those two genre get a pass is because getting hit isn't that much of a big deal really. But when it comes to games of hack'n slash which DMC should deliver, getting hit is a big no-no. stretching your senses thin as an easy way to get hit. Rather than claustrophobic I really feel the environments are unnecessarily wide. There is no usage of the environment for combat which makes the whole thing feel like watching how much you can whack away at your enemy without rhyme or reason. the eyefinity just emphasizes how big and flat the field is. That claustrophobic feeling is probably a big part of the original DMC too, because as some reviewers have said the claustrophobia results into tension. Tension means you are more engaged in it.
The cutscenes do look better with the eyefinity, but they need to fix the code as it really is distracting with all the shifting/popping textures as well as the characters suddenly warping in and out. Not too painful to watch but better off unsaid if those are the results. |

Seriously, why upload some video review of a nerd, who isn't even popular on youtube?
He's not even angry joe or whatever, just lame like other 95% of video game bloggers on youtube. Those reviews really are proof that fans are ridiculous going on about how Devil May Cry is abbreviated to DmC and other irrelevant thing.

saw the saga. Level headed, makes sense. Fairly respectful as a human being. Comes off as neutral leaning a little to one side despite the fact he is anti. Doesn't really give the game props but he rips on what must be ripped. Overall one of the better if not best example of what an anti should be in my perspective.
