Well as I see (correct plz if wrong). DAL synopsis looks like Tachibana uses Nigel Jackson books about tarot cards or smth similar.
In this case we've 7 main angels.

1. Zadkiel (Jupiter) - ??? Yoshino - ice puppet, blue hair.
2. Zafkiel (Saturn) - Kurumi - shadows and time, black hair.
3. Camael (Mars) - Kotori - spirit of fire, Ratatoskr (commander), red hair.
4. Raphael (Mercury) - Yamai twins - hurricane girls, orange hair.
5. Gabriel (the Moon) - Miku - sirene songs and moonstone hair.
6. Haniel (Venus) - Natsumi - transformation and shape-shifting, green (jade) hair.

So in this line - 5 angels are full equivalent with girls, Zadkiel.. hm, well it's also possible, and one (Michael) missed.

Also Tachibana added two other main angels - Sandalphon (Tohka) & Metatron (Origami) and reserve two vacant numbers (2 and 6).

We also know DeM (Deus ex Machina) got 2nd spirit. 2nd spirit coundnt be Michael. So it's another angel. If we think one of two is the Michael, second should be Lucifer, it's plain logic (but we already got Kurumi><).

Ellen said one time that she [Origami] is 2nd person who cut her. Also Ellen is not 2nd spirit (coz Kurumi knows about her and didnt recognize her as 2nd spirit).

In that case if "strongest wizard Ellen, who dislike battle 2 vs 1" - spirit, she should be 6th (and got Michael). And 2nd spirit may be Artemisia B. Ashcroft. Maybe Shido meet her soon (in past).

But here starts "big problems" in theory..

6th - very-very likely Michael and "yellow" (blonde) hair girl, but.. we already have got Origami with the Sun (Metatron), and Michael also represent it.

Also if 6th is Ellen, she doesnt have "六" inside her name. And Ellen doesnt like as teenager but mature woman.

Reine has "zero" in her name and gray hair (which doesnt represent natural or spectral colors system). So it's high chance that with her appereances in novel, she will one time discover as Phantom.

The author uses the Tree of Life in Kabbalah for the spirits and angels, which does have connections with tarot's origins. That's why there are ten in total with Michael and Raziel still left.

Personally, I don't believe that he's just a generic destroy-the-world villain, that's too cliché even on Tachibana's part. I'm thinking that there's something about the Spirits and spacequakes that only Ike, and that wheelchair dude from Ratatoskr (whose name I forgot), knew; a truth that might become a key to Earth's fate. And as time goes by, they formulated different paths in dealing with it.

Ike seem too much of a psychopath instead of the usual Well-intention Extremist type. He's not like the guy in your avatar, you know ? Woodman, on the hand, seem to fit the trope.

Yes, I know about it. But it doesnt answer on ability question. Why Camael uses fire, Zaphkiel - time etc.

But may I ask. why Raziel ? (and nor Uriel, Kokabiel or someone else)

It should be Raziel because Raziel is the archangel that represents the second sephira Chokhmah, who's spirit hasn't been shown yet.

Then again we don't even know if the author plan to show us all the spirits in their inverse form.
As far we know, Tohka and Origami are the only one that we will see in their inverse mode.

Tohka's sephira represent Kingdom. Her codename is Princess. Her Angel form is a throne of a King. Of course her armor would represent something follow the theme. In this case, it's the knight's armor.

While I understand why you guys compare Tohka with Saber (both in their normal and dark forms) there is a reason why Tohka in her spirit form is like this.

Now I don't fully remember, but if my memories serve me right, in the description of the 10 sphere there is a description of a beautiful woman on a throne.( or at least I read this once in one of those description).

Either this or him being the offspring of the first spirit. Otherwise, it'll be the first spirit is actually doing good things while phantom was manipulating her all along.

Inverse Kurumi will be Armageddon. Even more so than Inverse Tohka and Origami combined.
