Actualy not that i know who these people are but Tsui Hark is no longer the director because of some disagreements with the film company and the new director is Andrew Lau.

One quick thing about eva, Gamera 3 didn't have a huge budget by hollywood standards, and look how amazing that movie is. Also, devil man is under 10 mil, that's the collective salary for two episodes for a tv sitcom cast. I think quality will be fine in general. And I had forgotten about Lupin 3, that may be awesome, but they say the Japanese L3 move sucked, so I'm not in a hurry to see an american one, especially the franchise seems strained.

Tabiree said a Big O adaption, and I'm all for that. I'd just be afraid who'd play roger.

I would like to see Read or Die [OVA] or Read or Dream [TV] or some version of ROD as live action. It's not too far off from reality when compared to other animes. It's realistically possible...
Phasing through walls would be easy, but I want to see them do the paper, as well as the battle against that tower/launchpad in Episode 3 of the OVA...

The live-action Street fighter movie was utter rubbish. As long as the series doesn't have too much unbelievable stuff happening, a Live-action version could be ok, but i doubt it'd be as good as the original.

I think someone in Hong Kong will make an Initial D movie using chinese actors. They already got the licence from the publisher in Japan :| This better turns out to be good or else

Gundam Seed live action....... not thanks.
As much as I like Gundam series, I don't want another live action.
Think about the PS game they made based on the 1st Gundam.... and the G-Saviour movie..... >_<

GTO live action is already been done.......... both TV series & movie.

Berserk would be cool but only if it was a separate story written by Kenturo Miura instead of an adaptation of the manga. There is just too much content in the manga to fit in a 2 hour movie. In order to be good they would have to follow Kenturo Miura's plans completely. Also no skimping on the violence

I think Initial D will be pretty good, IA was an awesome, just like traffic in ways, G-Saviour didn't suck, a seed movie would awesome, and for the record, Spriggan would rock, we've seen the Casshern and Devilman trailers, you know even if it were made in Japan it would own.

And the one anime that deserves a live action treatment is Macross, we need one soooo badly, we really do, I wish they would take it off hold.
