It depends if it's a shonen anime like Naruto or something more "complex" like Ergo Proxy.

When I watch an anime like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach ...., generally I watch them and I'm doing sport at the same time: exercise bicycle, sit-up, musculation. It's cool .

When I'm watching an anime like Ergo Proxy, Ghost In The Shell... I take a soda, something to eat .

Yes but rarely... usually happens to be long and complex sentences. But mostly it's when subbers include a badly timed subtitle with too much text.

Also, I notice grammatical / word orders / spelling errors and have to pause to check if I misread.

Recent example: A fansubbing group wrote "College" instead of "Colleague". So I thought "What?" and had to re-read it to notice they simply messed up.

It all depends, usually I watch it through DVD or on my computer but sometimes I'll watch Cartoon Network or Sci-Fi becase both offer anime during different times of the week, so there is always something to watch throughout the week on TV regardless. Usually I just watch it on my laptop because the screen is really nice and there is so much variety available to me via a click of the mouse.

Before I use to watch anime on my Led 47" LG HDTV connected to my laptop with an HDMI cable. all my anime was in that laptop but now I just watch my downloaded anime on my Ipad 2 or ps3
