I actually don't know why they want to make a re-make. I didn't find anything wrong with the first release. Can someone fill me in?

1. Godly animation.
2. Cover all stories.
That's all that's off the top of my head.

I've got a question: How do you pronounce "Kanon"? I'm pronouncing it like 'cannon".

In addition to the reasons Pakxenon has stated, it most likely has something to do with Air and the fact that Kyoto Animation wishes to animate its predecessor series, Kanon as well. The KyoAni and 2002 Toei version seem to share no similarities at all except for the fact that they are based off the same visual novel game by Key, which leads me to look at the 2006 Kanon as less of a "remake" and as its own seperate series by Kyoto Animation.

Yes, that's the way you pronouce it. Some people try to pronouce it "kay-nahn", and it sounds really odd.

One might say that one of the morals of Kanon is that EVERYTHING one does and says matters... (goes off to hunt butterflies)

Patience. They can't reveal all their cards at this stage of the series.

Cheers.

Yep. Still too early in the series to release that one.

I think it was Mai, Noppapana. The demon (she cut) was quite a distance away from Yuuichi. She could have just pushed him aside by rushing at him. OR... She can use force-fields too.

Could you vet game players please tell us about ONE and MOON and how it's related to Kanon? We just had a ONE and MOON cameo and sort of know that they are linked via the creators.

Got permission for this in the new thread request section. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge with us.

It's not as hopeless as people may think. I was able to find one link, but it's in Japanese and my Japanese is nonexistent. The wiki links in that post may contains spoilers too. We even have some info here on one of our other forums. This link contains a major spoiler, so at your own risk.

So, here's hoping that a vet has some time to spare.
