Dude, if I wake up in whatever afterlife there maybe is, and it dawns on me that because of those idiots I missed the last episodes of Frontier... well, IŽll visit them in their afterlifes and beat the living crap out of them. IŽll probably have to get in line after the few billions of other PO'd people...

That scene... It was... *Sigh* I came close to getting a bit choked up when I saw Sheryl break down in front of Alto like that, after trying so hard (even before she learned of her illness) to be strong and nonchalant. It was heartbreaking. I never get like that with TV shows.

Same here. I'm a manly dude, and I almost teared up completely, right then and there. Of course, when the "pan out" happened, I cheered so loud that I woke up my wife (who proceeded to look at me funny all the way to the end of the episode and the inevitable question: "Are you daft?"). So, yeah, that scene was very touching.

The fact that I am cheering for a woman in a triangle already seems a bit abnormal to me. I know by the end of the series, I will be completely burnt out that I will probably not be able to look at another triangle the same way, that is, unless it is another Macross triangle...

Ha. I suppose I am in that camp, even if it's for the wrong reasons.

I know what you mean. It'll be a hard time at the end. I hope they will give us some more after the end though.

Well, considering his family status it would probably be Sheryl Saotome instead of Alto Nome though both sound very, tempting

Alto's disinherited. He has no claim to the family name.

It's a shame they didn't incoporate Kabuki into Frontier. I'd have liked to have seen a play written that pertained to current events, instead of the homoerotic tones we get from his brother, and Alto constantly behaving as if he's a character in a play.

We won't die for months. (That's when the real, high energy collisions will happen.)

Spoken like someone who could relate to Alto in that scene

Yeah, I read an article that the real experiments wonŽt begin until after Macross Frontier finishes. Phew!

I know that. But it's fun playing along with the paranoia. The real experiments won't be for about a year.

Wait... Does Sheryl have a middle name? Like Mary, Mari, Misa or Margret or something? Wouldn't it be a kick in the head if her initials would become "SMS"?

Personally, I think she should honor her adoptive mother and add Mao into the middle name

Speaking of which, nice avatar, too bad she died in one of the lamest deaths ever portrayed in fiction.

And I actually liked her, but no, she had to be taken out after 2 minutes of screentime while delivering less than 5 lines! The Knights of 12 disappoints, really.

I think I'll kill myself if Sheryl becomes the new standard for a female archtype, fortune cookies and all.
