The previous episode reminder only lasted half a minute! Wh-what has the staff done to my precious 2-minute header anime?!

Since I don't think a no-name character did it, I say that that wig guy is the person that killed the giant.
Ah, of course, I am not sure if he is wearing a wig, but it looks like it. That guy hugging Elen from the back at the end.

PS: Bungee or Banshee or Hanji? or whatever her name, but her voice acting is too similar to Kobayashi Yuu's.

Hanji was right, Levi. Don't put her on the same level with those who tried to dissect Eren. She goes way beyond that

Wow, Romi Paku's crying; it's ringing inside my head. Also, I really don't recall Petra to be this cute in the manga.

The ending of the episode serves as a reminder that Murphy's Law is in work within this anime.

lol at the scene where Levi's group had locked out Hanji to keep her away from Eren.

This was quite a nice episode that served as a introduction to Recon Corps. They're definitely an odd, but interesting group. The bit about Levi being a reformed criminal was also quite unexpected, you wouldn't think someone with past like that would be as law-biding or such a neat-freak. I wasn't expecting Eren however to entirely be separated from everyone else. SCIENCE TIME! with Hanji was pretty entertaining and quite enlightening. Especially since she basically talked Eren well into the morning, hey at least we know why everyone else left the room.

Definitely looks Sawney and Bean's deaths where done by humans if 3DM Gear was involved. Given Erwin's cryptic statement at the end, this most likely related to the real reason he wants this next mission to happen as fast as possible.

Nothing spectacular. Introductions to Levi's team, and a bit more information on titans. And the ending, we either have a couple of people who killed the titans out of pure hatred or to prevent the humans from getting new information.

What'd you expect? For a battalion that has done nothing but lose and suffer heavy casualties every sortie it's a miracle they're able to still function and not go completely insane.

Hanji's, uh, enjoyment of her work is interesting to watch. The manic scenery-chewing was glorious.

Though she reminds me of TF2's Medic right now... a lot.

Out of pure hatred for titans yes, but if it's the later, why would anyone do something that'll stop their side from gaining an edge on their enemies. It's hinting at a traitor among the human side.

It can also be a political struggling, for example, military police doesn't want a recon corp to get ahead of them and gain new information. Or church's men who think keeping titans alive inside the wall is intolerable.

Please don't let the two culprits be Mikasa and Armin.

I like Petra quite a bit too. That Auruo guy is bit of an ass, but he seems to have a habit of putting his foot in his mouth that reigns him In. It is kinda of nice he's not all talk either. 48 Titan kill ain't nothing to scuff at.

That's extremely unlikely given what we know of them.

Crazy bitch. I love her.

Disappointed by the kick scene though; manga showed a crazed girl dancing on the bodies of her enemies while this showed her just kicking it.
