The issue here is that 7Seas had been posting different placeholder dates for over a year now.
Its kind of a waste of time i would say, as 7Seas could have just posted the date as TBA on their site, but they kept changing the date multiple times for over a year, which cause nothing else but confusion among the fans, especially those who don't check for Japanese release info.

Would be odd if v12 is the Final Volume for the Main Story, since i always thought that Final Volume would have Adult Yue on its Cover.
But its also possible that its just a Melon Books Special stuff (like those Specific Store Special stuff)

It’s also possible that adult Yue(evil) could get the color insert instead. Melon’s bonus items with volume 12 were actually a tapestry of Yue(teacher) and an acrylic stand of Yue(regular). In terms of the volumes, Kaori is the only heroine who hasn’t had a second solo cover yet, whereas Yue already had her third with volume 10, so in that regard it makes sense for it to go to Kaori. Of course, there’s always the possibility of another curveball like volume 6’s Eri cover too, but if plans for the after story publishing are in the works I don’t think they’ll feel the need to go with the main heroine for the end of the main story cover.

Probably treated as a separate Sequel Series, and would be covered as Arc's, like Abyss Arc, Hero Arc, Journey Arc, etc.

It's a running gag in the story where Yue and Hajime began producing an army of -bells any time they went somewhere new. It's also used to illustrate just how lightly life and public safety are treated on Tortus in contrast to Earth.

Technically, it would be 1½ years (18 months) worth of gap between v11 & v12, which is to be expected as a Series gets closer to the End.
But its not like the whole time was a dry time. We got 2 Side-Story LN volumes within that time, and some other stuff (unlike Shield Hero LN, which had been on hiatus for 2½ years now, with nothing in-between not even a spin-off or side-story)

So, unless we get another "Short Story Collection" in-between v12 & v13, i would say that we would probably be getting v13 (in Japan) by the End of 2022 (i doubt the Author plans to extend it much longer than that).
