Does anyone know of a good website on making cured meat and fish at home? I'm actually going to make Gravadlax next week.

I'm big fan of homemade food. I like italian, french and of course japanese cuisine...
I even make sushi by myself on weekends. Also I like to cook spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese.
delicious!

I make quite a mean meatloaf. Here is what I use for a 1 pound pan:
  • 1lb of hamburger
  • 3 raw eggs
  • 2 tubes of saltine crackers
  • Add a dash of cumin and onion to taste
  • Don't forget ketchup!

Take all of this and blend it all into a goop. Put it evenly into a pan. Once the meat and spices are all blended and spread out evenly, place an even coat of ketchup over it.

Preheat the oven to 350. Once the oven is preheated place the pan in for 45 minutes. After it's all done, let it sit for a good ten minutes. Enjoy!

For today I made spaghetti carbonara with salad and chocolate brownie for dessert. I like cooking and prefer to take homemade food to work, I ordered special containers for that here https://allinpackaging.co.uk/food-pa...ng-containers/. I think it's better than buying fast food near my office.

Currently, I work from home most days, so I make my lunch fresh at lunch time. But, when I used to pack my lunch I usaually do salads. For salads, one of my favorites when I lived in the US was kale salad. I added nuts, such as almonds or walnuts, and sometimes shaved parmesan. My favorite dressing was a simple mix of lemon, garlic, and tahini. I always added at least one piece of fresh or dried fruit and sometimes some extra nuts or cheese to eat as a snack with my fruit.

lentils stew with couscous. this food doesn't take a lot of time and is really delicious for me.
lentil stew - fry onion and garlic in oil (in a saucepan). Add favorite spices (I use Indian) and fry more. Add a glass of water and let it simmer. Add lentils and enough water. Boil with the lid on. and let it simmer on low heat. it should get thick and soft. don't forget to add salt to taste! feel free to add more water, if you see it isn't enough.
couscous - just add hot water or stock and put the lid on. let it brew. add spices, butter, oil etc to taste. I add the soy sauce with honey. mmm

I prefer only organic meat and natural ingredients. Recently, I bought convection oven here in Auckland. It helps me to save my time in the kitchen and make delicious and healthy food. I've already tried to make baked paprika chicken and beef stroganoff . Taste delicious!

I bought an immersion circulator a few months back (Anova Sous Vide) and since then I've practically run every piece of land meat through it (steak, lamb, chicken breasts etc.).

I've been trying to cook more now that I live on my own, so two from scratch recipes that have gone really well are fish tacos with lime creme and pulled pork sandwiches. If anyone has any recommendations for beginner-moderate level recipes, let me know!

So i tried making a pancake cake in a rice cooker.

Unfortunately, it didn't come out with a fluffy texture, it was more wet like a pudding.
I'm not sure what i did wrong.

my favorite is avocado toast. it seems like healthy food, besides it's really fast to make, especially when you're late after a sleepless night preparing a paper for your course
