I think this is the second part of the interview with Kawamori, following the earlier one:

1-12 are there because I posted a request that they be listed which CrowKenobi graciously fulfilled. EveTaku either didn't know to list here or didn't care.

As for the show itself, I'll just pass along the criticism from my kitty that there aren't enough pets in this show. With the number of girls living in that house together, you'd think there would be a couple of puppies or kitties living there as well.

You didn't see the cute, flying, glowing pet Chieri keeps around all the time? Kirara are space-pets!

I suppose the only downside is that they didn't need to spend nearly so much time on the TakaMina angst since she gets her spot back anyways .

Otherwise it was a pretty solid episode. Brings up some interesting theories about the center nova incidents being triggered by singing on certain planets that had that mineral in it. We almost lost our main cast right in the last episode . I wish that crazy cryptic immortal guy would actually use full sentences. Leaves the cast having to play code breaker trying to figure out what the heck he is going on about. We know he understands what a sentence is since he can write lyrics...

A pretty fun episode though. Settled a lot of Nagisa's personal issues, confirmed the connection with Yuuka and Mamoru and good resolution for Chieri and Orine.

Plenty of questions left, but that's what another season is for.

Question: Have the OP and ED singles come out yet? Every time I watch the show I keep getting both of them stuck in my head.

They don't even list their shows on Baka Updates. I wonder how many people have completely missed the series because the subs weren't listed in the usual places.

Considering that she actually gained a fan following, I suppose she'll be back.

I think it's because of some fan misconceptions and/or non-interest as well as persisting prejudices (including the backlash against Okada, and those who look down at the idol industry as "exploitative") that I feel it's not being regarded highly, but that may change soon as word-of-mouth among average fans would place it in a more positive light.

As of now, it has risen in favor in MAL, with an average score of 7.56.

Well streaming sites are good to pick this one up. So if you're streaming and not downloading then no worries.

I don't think it's going to convince the hard-core Okada detractors -- they'll just look at it and see a lack of strong male figures other than a guy in drag and scream, "emasculation!" -- but people who don't have a strong position on her should be able to get into it more easily than her other recent series.

Fixed, and I'm aware it's not going to change their minds; even Macross purists have given it a cold shoulder.

Instead, the most important thing is that Kawamori and Okada have gone to considerable lengths (and trying to convince even non-fan Satelite personnel like Romain to get their feet wet) in making the show enjoyable by peppering it with liberal amounts of real-life references even as they walked a tightrope of great risk (and if you ask me, at the beginning I had mixed thoughts, wondering whether the whole venture originally hatched by Otsuki would fly at all, expecting for the worst) -- and much to my surprise it worked.

Someone should make it bigger that it can be printed out as a Megu dakimakura.

And...

Well, Okada seems to have its high and its low...
To hate her because some of her works sucks doesnt mean that everything she does is sucks...

I've seen other script writer ruins anime works...
And why does everyone keeps pointing Okada as she is the worst writer one serie can get...

I won't forget! She deserved better than to be shoved off to the side from a random bullet-wound last time (and that despite the fact that we saw that their clothes are bulletproof) just because she wasn't one of the 77th or 75th generation members. What was the point of developing her the way they did just to drop her like that?
