Diminishing returns the moment you get 1 Murgleis.

Varuna isn't that good without Uno 5* tho.

This is about optimization.
I have 4 Murg, which is base 43% TA.
3 Bow for both HP and damage inflation.
Xeno Staff as main hand so I can spam healing via ougi, which is every 3 or 4 turns thanks to high TA rate. This is on top of Sage's healing.
The combination of all these makes max HP very easy to maintain. (How to stay in that 80% zone is the key with playing with those bows. And after various testing, 3 bows with healing spam is the safest route.)
If necessary, toss in Sochie to inflate both damage and healing even more. If that still doesn't work, toss in Lily. Which doesn't hurt, as her ougi effect is a great boost in damage in Varuna grid.

Then swap the remaining two weapon slots base on the fight.

I'll need at least one flip to FLB the second bow. If I don't get one and the alternative is waiting 6 months till the event runs again, you'd better believe I'll use a damascus bar.

That's nice, too bad I don't have SR Jasmine. I tank Hroovitnir once and get through the second one with Alexiel, then Fenrir dies.

We're supposed to get free slightly less powerful versions of the Primal summons (Varuna, Titan, Hades, etc) when the 4th Anniversary rolls around. Or you can pick a Sunstone if you don't want any of them. It's not clear what their stats will be yet but they should be a viable alternative to the gacha versions.

TL;DR: Cygames is going to give you Not!Varuna soon, so you can farm Fimbuls now.

Do you know the problem with a third fimbul lies in that you lose the boost the moment your HP hits 90% right?

And regarding team comps well people who play Varuna only worry about the third slot after obtaining FLB of both Uno who is the indisputable Stamina King( please nerf) and Quatre so you forget playing Chaos R. for the rest of your life.

The boost and stats will be less.
Tho the numbers are not known being free probably means they'll be have magna summon stats AND a boost might be either 80% or 100% at 3*.

What it is confirmed is that free primals will be 0* so you will have to use sunstones on them to be 3* and get their maximum boost. My guess is that their 0* boost will be 50%
If you by luck obtain a true Primal the free ones can be reduced and get your sunstones refunded.

And what is the problem when that almost never happens even in fights like Flame=Glass HL solor or Prometheus HL solo or GW Hell solo after you get your team together? And I know I'd love to have 3 Fimbuls instead of 2 during GW.
The only fight you'll think about using only two Fimbul is Shingeki Baha HL.
Well, no. There are formulas that can even maintain 90% HP in Shingeki Baha if not using 4. Just 4's boost on TA is much more valuable than the damage boost from the third fimbul. And a crit/Fimbul hybrid grid is much better for Shingeki Baha anyway.

Those examples aren't exactly the best representation....

Anyway, it's rather minor. And most of the complaints are from a gameplay perspective about having to go through extra steps to do a quest that has presets anyway, if you're playing Djeeta.
