Ah yes, this was another excellent episode, with lots of action and a lot of information to dwell on. Some points and observations in the episode:

TL;DR…

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

2 episodes to go, and I can guess that at least 1 episode will cover 2 more epic fights. I wonder what the last episode will be about?

The attack force got through to the Eighth Floor before it was stopped which is kind of impressive given the way Nazarick's layered defence system worked. The Ninth and Tenth levels weren't actually that well-defended either, the Throne Room was basically configured as a Boss Fight arena so that if an enemy force did get in there Ainz Ooal Gown could put on a really good show but at that point they've effectively conceded defeat. Watching the victors try and loot the Treasury afterwards would have been fun though -- lots of golems, tricks and traps and Pandora's Actor to boot.

ISTR that the attack comprised of at least ten allied guilds plus a lot of top-ranking solo players totalling fifteen hundred individuals and their NPC supports. Defence is always easier than attack but even so it was a close-run thing.

Takemikazuchi (Cocytus' creator) was a warrior with insane damage output along with the ninja Nishikienrai (Nabe's creator). Peroroncino (Shalltear's creator) was obsessed with perfect builds (thus how Shalltear turned out) and had insane range attacks. His sister Bukubukuchagama (Mare and Aura's creator) was a commander and incredibly experienced and intelligent. And there were several others.

While they were not the STRONGEST guild, they were never conquered. Nazarick, after they settled there, was impenetrable and even a coalition of guilds failed miserably when they tried to attack them. There was also another key factor... one of the requirements of joining the guild was that they had to be adults with jobs... that meant that they had access to a lot of cash items. Ainz Ooal Gown was very Pay-to-Win in their approach. Momonga was especially guilty of this.

Momonga was, above all else, a Roleplayer. He intentionally made himself weaker by picking classes and skills he didn't need, so he could meet the requirements of the Overlord class. All this, because he wanted to roleplay as the evil Overlord of Death.

That said, a normal level 100 magic caster in the game could learn up to 300 spells. Ainz knows 718 different spells because of a special ability. That in itself is impressive and allowed him to adapt to situations rather quickly against players and in raids.
Thanks for the info. Damn, Ainz Ooal Gown is a pretty insane guild huh. And there are also the old hag, the dragon and the girl with different eyes and hair color. They seem to be stronger than Evilleye. It's sad that the anime won't feature them outside of their cameos.

Really like this episode. Plenty of points to it. Sebas wasted no time, makes you wonder why they even went to lengths to introduce them. That broken leg looked really painful too O_o

Poor Entoma, the 3 Adamantite adventures proceeded to gang up on her and talk shit about her being a maid. Needed 3 of them and 1 possessing an anti-inscect damage spell to turn the tide on Entoma, but kept the fight entertaining from not being a one sided slaughter. If I remember correctly, Adamantite are pretty much near hero levels, peak of humanity. So just that was enough to defeat one of the weakest of the Pleiade maids ^_~. I am betting Narbarel would of slaughter them. But I honestly didnt want blue rose to die <.< So that cliffhanger was nice. Dark hero Momon has come to increase his rep! Obviously by saving Blue rose. I did want Aniz and Evileye to meet, but I feel like its too soon. I asumed it would of happened when Blue Rose leader would get possessed by her sword ?
Well on a side note, I actually like Entomas real voice over the used vocal cord. Evileye did us a favor in that regard.

Now onto my main point. In the past I said Princess Renna I believed to had be an Innocent princess at day, murderer by night. Which technically I was sorta right, If shes been killing her maids. The other thing I said about her, was I had these feelings that she has ties or links to 8 fingers. This episode made that even stronger.
Mainly on that I have seen scenarios like this before and if not for the ED spoiling us by showing she was hiding her self, I probably wouldnt of picked up on it as fast.

The things that strike me in this scenario.
- She plays innocent and kind, and is said to the "former" most beautiful girl in the kingdom (nice job Narbarel and Solution <3)
- the kingdom blindly loves her and praises her. Shes gather way too much support.
- While suggesting all these too good to be true reforms, none of them have passed except for the slave pact.
- Her own royal family refers to her as a monster. I can "only assume" at this point she did something messed up, or grew up constantly cutting up her own dolls in violent ways" and the royalty hides/cleans it up.
- When given evidence by Blue rose, walked into another room and came back out with the translation and answers just like that.
- Seems to be employing Blue Rose. While this is counter productive if shes linked/working with 8 Fingers, the advantage here is it looks like shes generally cares and it improves her image in the kingdom.
- Its been revealed her acting skills are quite superve. She has also been referred to as a genius, something villains can excel in scenarios like this
- urgh, Dont know if I forgot to put in anything else, will edit it in later if so.

These are points that have come across me in this scenario. Her Allibi is just too good that I get these vibes that I have seen in twists before. The part in this episode that has me even more inclined to my suspicions. Is when Demiruge declared this person must not be killed... If.... If the Golden Princess, is working with 8 fingers... or even is their leader. This is huge. The image demirugre showed I strongly believe now to be the Golden Princess. It would make hell alot of sense why the order was "forbidden to be killed" was issued. I've come up with a few idea why this could be ordered. But my best idea is because this grants Aniz quite a bit of blackmail leverage of a kingdom. You dont just kill royalty of a country like that when theres much to gain. Thats why princesses are getting kidnapped all the time ^_~. Well if Ainz was really evil, He could blackmail her, get her on the throne, and use the kingdom as a puppet state that useful to Nararick. Dam, I am getting more evil as I get older :S . I am getting ahead of myself, but the kingdom fighting wars with the empire wouldnt be a problem then, with Nararick undead troops backing them. Nararick practically replaces 8 fingers as the underground organization.

While its true in the last few episodes it been making the Golden Princess out just to be a yandere over Climb, I still think its quite possible shes the force behind 8 fingers. The question now lies, which is probably questions everyone has, is how Nazarick got ahold of such Intel so fast. How did they locate 8 locations in a span of a few hours? (1 more than Blue Rose/Town Guard) Well a friend of mine reckons the Shades have been at work. Well all I can say Nararick works dam fast. Such dedicated loyal servants.

Anyway figured I come out and tell my suspicions. I'll eat my words if this turns out to be nothing. Which it could very well be.

Yeah, I also want to know more about that girl with the heterochromatic eyes. I have a thing for that <.<. She looked really cool. Even if shes an enemy. I hope shes strong and not all talk Like at least give Shaltear a competitive match like Ainz did. But I hope for too much <.< No-one seems to be able to stand up to level 100s outside of Nazarick. Only world items that mind control :/

i think he means by "how they covered her face" on that episode, it's looked really suspicous, how they don't proper showed her face as if or is not really her or something happened on her face, or at last her eyes, that scene was pretty "dubious" about if was really tuare and if something happened with her.
Quote:
When they showed Tsuare, the anime covered her eyes with her hair. In anime terms, it either means she lost her sight, or something really suspicious is going on with Tuare. Could it be that Zero is creating an illusion to look like Tsuare? Could Tsuare be possessed with something?
We'll see next week

Yeah, nice theory, I agree with you. But something doesn't add up. If she is so possessive of Climb and is indeed behind the scenes all this time, she wouldn't let him near the Eight Fingers, unless she already has counter measures or she wants him to get stronger. And about the day/night thing, I guess it's not because she has a particular switch, but more like she has to keep her image during the day due to all the political affairs.

Another thing I noticed is that Demiurge locked the dimension for preventing transportation, but how come Momonga comes in like a boss ??

About the Maids, let's see. Solution, hot af, turns out to be a slime. Entoma, though very cute, her face is actually a freaking bug. It's just...just...*sigh*. If Narberal has another form like them, I'm so done

I don't know about the main series, but Pure Pure Pleiades has said what Narberal is.

Spoiler for Narberal:

To be fair, the Pleiades aren't much for housework. There's a "civilian" branch of the maids for that.

I don't think that is very hard. From what we know, The Slaine Theocracy has a military chain of command, and military force that would suggest they have the strongest mages on the continent. Meanwhile, The Kingdom doesn't seem to have a proper army, if we can trust on the conversation between the Marquis and the royal siblings. Furthermore, Renner herself stated that the Kingdom is split in two factions, and that Marquis is putting tremendous effort in preventing the sandcastle from collapsing. The fact that Renner counts on Blue Rose rather than her having a private unit further attests to the fact that the Kingdom has a serious lack of talented personnel.

Brain and Gazeff are supposedly Adamantite tier. Quite impressive when Brain barely has magic items on him. But at the same time this also says what we need to know about Adamantite. It's not that Adamantite tier can fight Pleiades on an even footing, it's more so that there's no class above Adamantite so far. No one vastly superior bar Ainz as Momonga, has appeared. This means that Adamantite class itself is very vast and that there's a huge discrepancy amongst people that are Adamantite class in terms of equipment, skill, class & subclass and race.

Think of it: Entoma, though she never really dedicated her attacks to killing that much, was toying with Gagaran and Ninja. What turned the tides was the fact that Evileye had a great counter and she isn't essentially human herself. In all likelihood, Evileye surpasses most if not all human adamantite class adventurers. Narberal is likely their worst matchup, since she's not likely to toy around with humans unlike Entoma and Solution.

Speaking of Evileye, what race could she be? Given that she's pretty attached to humans, I think we can rule out the undead. And given her disdain for Entoma, it's likely that it's a race that's very likely to ally with humans or at least have frequent contact with humans. Furthermore, her usage of magic and the fact that she made a spell specific to attack what she sees as a demonlord's subordinate, it's likely that she has a subclass/passive that gives magic bonuses or some kind of slayer type of advantage/knowledge. If she's not some strange half vampire (we never saw her eat did we) it's likely that she's some kind of elf or something related to elves. Mostly my speculation though.

He prevented teleport skills/spells. For all we know, Momonga did a drop from a high altitude. Also, we don't know the specifics of Demiurge's spell. If he really locked the dimension, it may just be possible that Ainz was close when Demiurge casted the spell. Another possibility is that Demiurge's spell was very target specific and that Momonga could do his entrance because he wasn't targeted by the spell.

Considering that most if not all members of Nazarick are humanoids or something inhuman, I think that it's safe to say that most have a "true form"

Going by this episode we can say Evileye is old, has seen some shit before and may not be Human.

She judged Entoma with that Demon God and recognized how dangerous Demuirge is.

Most telling is that she wears a mask hiding her identity.

Watched episode 11:

Wow, Sebas literally slaughtered those 6 arms members. They were not even able to damage him at all. That undead guy did not have chance to shoot the fire he's holding. Never kidnap the girlfriend of the good butler. They should remember that.

If Demiurge did not arrive on time.. Ainz would have needed to spend gold for reviving Entoma.

Oh man, Overlord is SO. EFFING. GOOD.

I'm hoping that the reality of the battle we saw in the OP is simply Ainz battling Demiurge to convince Blue Rose he's on their side. Of course, that brings me to my next conundrum- on one hand, we have Momonga the Adventurer, and swordfighting can be highly entertaining (and save your ass in video games). Yet I also love when he's as Ainz in Necro garb and spellflinging. Something tells me we won't get to see any spellflinging from Ainz this time.

Episode 12 is out. It seems they are setting up for the finale based on this week.

Glad to see Sebas destroy Zero. Also, Evileye was really adorable to watch (really wish they showed her face behind that mask). On the other hand, that ending with Renner is creepy....if only Climb knows about her real personality.

These episodes always feel too short. I'm curious what Demiurge's plan really is and how it will benefit Ainz. Creepy princess is back, Evileye was adorable, and Sebas is still a badass. Only one more episode left until it's over.

Just a reminder that we really are following the villains this season. They get all pissed at bug girl potentially being killed. Even though god knows how many she killed along the way during this job. Just a reminder that Ainz has no humanity left in him. Oh sure he has the selfish desire to continue appearing like a good leader. But even from the early episodes he's had little interest in human lives in this world. And it's not as if that magical restraint on his emotions is playing a factor. He just doesn't care.

Well so far the obvious gain seems to be utterly blowing up the popularity of Ainz's adventurer identity. Stopping a threat that no other adventurer could handle and saving the country? That should boost up his popularity. Just in general that should help gain more work, resources, and funds.

Though I'm sure there is more to his plan than simply that. Could also be grabbing some test subjects, testing various defenses and strength levels in the kingdom, and maybe trying to lure out anyone extremely powerful or using a world item.

.
I wonder whether that their "villainy" will get punished in the future or the series will ended with the villain victory.

that is a problem cus he really don't look like "don't care" otherwise he could not care for the tsuere and not get pissed and neither want repay the girl or tried to get anger at the bitch from the first season for her have killed and turned in undead his fellow partners and there is where lie the problem sometimes he does seens evil and don't care but others he does not see like that, while most of the nazerick denises are true evil some not are and are more like bonded by they setup of total servitute which was write in the codes like sebas which is the opposite of most of them and only keep following because his programation and as i told ainz himself had that really big problem of not being really "up" for neither evil or good like he keep flip floping as the writer need and don't talk about that "feelings restraing" cuz somehow ainz is the "only undead" in this serie with a "soul" and not brainless which have that crap excuse because vampires and even the other dude which looked like a lich which sebas killed don't look like having the same issue somehow that "setting only affect him" making it even less believable, when i do love this show and a lot of things if anything really bugs me in this show is that "ainz is evil", because many times it's really don't look like that.

Well going to this episode it's seens which it not was really a "momo" plans after all because he was surprised about what happening here and noticed which demiurgue is "ploting behind his back".

it's seens which they are ploting to make demiurge being one to really betrayl momon and probably be one of his last enemies to beat.
