I don't see what's the problem with a female lead in an action series. Girls can kick as much ass as the guys, and they look better at it.

Than been said, this isn't really an action series.

What's strange is that out of the 20 chapters of the manga that was scanlated, there isn't even anything suggesting this to be an action series, and definitely not one with esper like super powers. I wonder how much stuff they changed or cut out in order to get the action/power scenes into the anime.

Just that trailer has scenes from 8 volumes or so.

Most of those action scenes comes from later volumes (volume 7 and up).

I hope that means this series will be 24 episodes, at the very least.

6 BD volumes, with one costing more than the others so 13 episodes?

Welp, there's no way to cover even 1/2 of the available material with just 13 episode....

I hope it doesn't suck.

Maybe they're going to start in the middle of the story, with some flashbacks to the earlier parts.

Is it possible for them just to mix up volumes,or is the entire progression of the story linear?

Episode 1 already pre aired in France this summer, and from I have heard first episode was a pretty faithful adaptation of its first 3 chapters.

Animax Asia Officially confirms it's simulcasting Coppelion the same time as Japan.

Maybe I'm missing something....is there a Western license for this yet? It's odd that they're already pushing the English version before the show is even out yet. That's really rare in this period of the industry.

Not that I'm complaining. The show's on my must watch list. But it would be nice to know so the thread can be tagged appropriately.

None so far. And this isn't the first time Animax Asia did this. They did this before with Tears to Tiara, the Last Exile sequel and K.

I guess they aimed for oversea is because no free TV channel in Japan will air this(only BS11 and AT-X)

Since it'll air on private channels like you said and probably uncensored, I can already sense a lot of extreme violence and scenes that no free TV channel is able to show it without censoring so much. But then again, I haven't read the manga and I can just say what I would expect from the series besides typical GoHands god-tier animation and color filters.

I read the manga and it doesn't have anything that needs censoring, the action scenes are mild compared to other seinen series out there.
