As this pic from the translated doujin shows, Kyonko has a somewhat poor view of herself because of her body type. I think that part of her snark could be how she copes with this (and fueling the denial of attraction between herself and Haruki).

Does that sound plausible?

2: Get approval for membership
3: Go into 'user control panel', click 'Usergroups' tab, select the 'Seiktekan Cult'
4: Wait for approval by an admin
5: You're in.

EDIT: Do look around at the various other projects that Baka-Tsuki is involved in. Baka-Tsuki is always looking for people that will contribute to the Haruhi novels translation project, and numerous other projects.

EDIT1: I for one still need to translate Nanoha S1 novels, which I at one point said I'll do and be an hero...

*smacks forehead* I realized that I was completely misunderstanding that strip when I tried to read it earlier. Silly using-katakana-where-kanji-would-do.

First panel: "Wearing a wig."
Second panel: "Yeah... that would be good... wouldn't it?"

Not editing the image because of the intensity of the vertical-ness of those bubbles.
