All I seem to remember about the series is that it involves a fighter walking around and fighting random people. He used some sort of fighting style that focused completely on hand-to-hand combat, no weapons.

He wore a white top and loose (blue?) pants.

In one episode he flipped someone upside down and kicked the back of his neck in mid-air. I believe that he also ended up fighting a famous swordsman(maybe the swordsman's name was Musashi?).

And I believe that in the second season or possibly just the last 12 episodes (of a 24 episode series) it may have been the father of the main character in the previous 12 episodes. Near the end of the series he ended up participating in a fighting tournament and everyone seemed surprised that he refused to use weapons.

I know this is all very vague and there are plenty of Animes that sound very similar, but please just drop a name if this sounds even remotely like a series you know.

Also, while I have you here. There is a show based off the Shin Megami Tensai PS2/PSP games. I watched a few episodes and could never find it again.

and that's what I used to find the name ryouzou. (prob how eis found it too.)

but beyond that if the uploader didn't link the source well (as in this case), a bit more work is required. still works great for most things tho

First one is Lancer from Fate/Stay Night and... someone I don't know. I've only ever seen the anime so maybe it's another character from the visual novel...

EDIT: Ok, this image was also found by iqdb and it's 'Archerko'. From Danbooru wiki: A character from the Fate/stay night doujin series "Sword Dancers", by Himura Kiseki.

They aren't from a particular anime/manga/game, they are just from an original illustration by ryohka.

The only thing i could think of that sounds remotely close to that is Shura No Toki
