If FMA were to include a little romance in the series, who would you think dear Edward Elric should be together with?

Personally I think Edward would be best suited to Roze! Even though Roze might be a minor character, I'd hope that she might have more spotlight soon to come in the series. (And I hope Ed grows taller too lol)

Ed & Winry? Well I really do not support this couple that much, but I would have to justify my opinion once we get to see more of Winry, then maybe I might reconsider . But at the moment, I believe that there is a strong possibility that Winry and Roy Mustang might hookup! (Their age difference isn't that bad, is it?).

And lastly, Ed and his dear brother Al. I'd totally adore these two with their brotherly relationship!

Time to speculate & view each other's opinions, folks!

Well, considering that...

I don't think Roy and Winry would work, in addition to the age factor. Roy knew Ed and Al's dad, right? So he must be late 20's, at least, and Winry's what, 15?

What I'm hoping for, or at least think might happen, is Roy and Hawkeye. Hawkeye=cool. If only she were an Alchemist as well. *shrug*

Personally, I think any romance would kill this show for me. I really enjoy the strong sibling bond between ed and al..add romance into the mix.. and you just ruin a great thing IMO.

hmm...as for mustang and winry, the age difference isnt the problem...I really only see this happening in an angsty doujinshi

Hmm... i think ed and winry make a good pair because they grew up together and stuff but I think romance in the show is bad for it.... a little crush from winry is ok but for ed to return the feelings would ruin the show cause the highlight of this anime is the strong bond between brothers... hmmm... perhaps I should've casted my vote for the brothers instead,,,

Ah, I wasn't implying that I wanted romance in the show at all. I think it's fine how it is, and shouldn't change at all. Just, if there were to be some, Roy and Hawkeye(what IS her first name?) would get my vote.

I think Winry has a crush on Edward.. Though she could just be feeling sorry for her childhood friend. A little romance never hurt anyone. I am hoping that it is love and not just caring for a friend.. We shall all see in future episodes.
