Though it's old, I wanted to mention that Princess Princess is NOT a BL (shounen-ai) series. It's just a shoujo crossdressing comedy. (Very funny too, I hope it has decent production values)

Well actually Mitsu x Mitsu Drops is a shôjo manga by Kanan Minami that was turned into a dating sim. The manga itself seems to be rather smutty, but not more than Mayu Shinjo stuff for example. And it's running in Sho-Comi, definitely aimed at girls.

"Drops" in general probably refers to little candy-ish pieces (think of cough drops, only candy instead of medicine). "Mitsu" refers to honey, so MITSUxMITSU Drops is like saying honey honey candy. ^^; Nanatsuiro Drops would mean something like rainbow-colored (literally "7 colored") candies...

Like a lot of Japanese titles, it doesn't have a meaning beyond being cute... ^^;

With regard to "Mitsu Mitsu Drops", "Drops" seems to mean "Drop out". It is a play on words. "Drop out from Honey" and "Honey Candy(Drop)".
