Even though I haven't been posting here, I've been following this closely, BONES being one of my favorite studios and whatnot. Plus, Yoshida designs, which is always more than welcome.

But this...

Fumiko Orikasa is definately a plus. I have a lot of hope for this anime.

Whoops, my bad. But they sure look like his designs.

Oh well, they have the feeling of BONES faces about them, so I guess that can explain the mixup.

The designer, Ayumi Kurashima was a prominent animator on Eureka Seven (she's a bones vet). Her stuff does look like Yoshida, but more restrained with less contrasts (still real nice work though).

Trailer made it look really weird. The whole having his head stabbed thing.

[... the secret of the Great Stories is that they have no secrets. The Great Stories are the ones you have heard and want to hear again. The ones you can enter anywhere and inhabit comfortably. They don't deceive you with thrills and trick endings. They don't surprise you with the unforeseen.. They are as familiar as the house you live in. Or the smell of your lover's skin. You know how they end yet you listen as though you don't. In the way that you know that one day you will die, you live as though you won't. In the Great Stories you know who lives, who dies, who finds love, who doesn't. And yet you want to know again. That is their mystery and their magic. ...] Arundhati Roy

Those last two look like they have the potential to be minor antagonists, but then again i could be wrong

From all the characters up there just doesn't fit in. I guess we'll find out why that is when it airs.

Wasn't she in a magazine spread that saw earlier in the thread? Do we know anything about her?

Does the main male lead best friend by a thing for Hullen the long hair girl? It mentions something about love towards her character. While Hullen's character info mentions about her being close/caring the main male lead. Looks like they'll be a love triangle in the series wouldn't be surprise if the short red hair girl joins in possibily the main male lead having developed feeling for her while Hullen's character feelings for the main male character are never returned.

I'm probably wrong on what I could understand using http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/ to translate into english.

Yeah, he does. According to the main site, Furuichi tries to comfort Haru while she yearns to meet Akiyuki again, believing that he and Xamdou are one and the same. Ouch. I guess we'll be seeing some dramatic conflict in this area.

Well, it's not always advisable to resort to online translators, but if you really have to, may I suggest this? You have ten translators to choose from.

Yeah i know what you mean usually you've got to go through a bad season after a good one, still There's a new anime by Brain's base this summer so that might be worth watching until Xamdou hopefully come's out this Fall season.
