Seeing Umiko teasing Nene again
I wonder what exactly was inside the charm Hazuki gave Yamato, with Mozoku going nuts. That scene was a different one in the manga 'cause the girls didn't know Mozuku yet. So Hazuki made Yamato take him with her to break the ice. The new girls finally arrived. Can't wait for Nene x Naru "competition" as fellow programmers. And of course Aoba x Momo as well |

A good episode, Nene joins the programming team, and the two new girls join the cast full time now. New ED to celebrate the beginning of the second half of the season.
We also got a deeper look at Yamato's personality and fleshed her out a bit. Also good to see.

Is it just me, or does Yamato's little sister looks like Hazuki? That was the first thing I thought when I saw that picture in the manga. Her hair and dress style really looks like Hazuki, but the hair color's a bit different. And Yamato states that she came alone to Japan and her sister is making games in France. |

She already appeared in the manga and didn't look like Hazuki at all. |

Sure enough, like I said before, the company is going all-out to make it look like Kou is the creator and shut Aoba out of the spotlight, and indeed they're sticking with her for the artwork; apparently they're interacting with the magazines so the articles also portray it as Kou's work, just like I feared. Nice to know Christina herself feels the weight of this action; pretty much everyone thinks it's a horrible, cruel move. As Aoba said, Nene came at a great time when she's really needed; I think Nene's instant recognition of her work and praise of her style helped her a ton.
Additionally, I was surprised to see Nene coming in so quick. I'm guessing that like Umiko said it's largely a matter of her enthusiasm and incredible growth rate. I'm a programmer, and let me tell you managing to go from not knowing "Hello World" to making an entire game from scratch without an engine so quickly is incredible. She may not have a passion for code, but holy crap does she have talent. Being able to witness such a meteoric growth rate I'm not surprised Umiko felt it worthwhile to pull her in as a full apprentice. Last edited by BWTraveller; 2017-08-24 at 22:46. |

Ep 07
While Aoba is certainly going through a rough patch at the moment as regards ... err ... "corporate life"? ... and is, of course, the main character of the series, I have been enjoying seeing Nenecchi coming into her own as well. And that moment where Aoba's gratitude spills over at Nenecchi's encouragement of her efforts is a wonderful point in this episode. Quote:
