I may edit this some other time...but here's a shot about my character Faiz :3
Spoiler for length:
Suvia raised an eyebrow as she watched one of the TSAB mages suddenly obliterated a whole block of Orphnochs in one successive blow. However, she didn’t dwell on it for long. Beheading the last of the Orphnochs in front of her, she quickly scanned for AutoVajin’s location and made haste. With a little girl waiting, she wasn’t going to waste more time than necessary. She was sure that going through such an ordeal would probably leave the girl rattled for bit. Following the directions displayed on her HUD, Suvia spent the next little while cursing at herself. She had made a horrible mistake and had almost gotten paid for it dearly. She didn’t even want to know what would’ve happened if she had been even a minute or two late. She shuddered at the horrible thought, and shook her head to clear it. She couldn’t dwell on it.
“Mama!” a voice suddenly called out, pulling Suvia from her thoughts. Ahead, she watched as AutoVajin approached her with the girl sitting on the saddle, waving both of her arms.
“Eir,” Suvia called out, dropping the Faiz Edge and ran up towards her daughter only to catch her in her arms as Eir leapt off of AutoVajin. Motherly instincts kicked in as she pulled away from her daughter so that she could get a good view of her. Eyes travelled up and down the length of the girl’s body as she tried to assess if there was anything wrong with her daughter. “Are you alright? Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine,” the girl exclaimed, leaning in again into her mother’s warm embrace.
[She is fine] AutoVajin replied, transforming into its biped form. [No injuries, external or internal, and they have not touched her in any sense]
“I know…I know,” Suvia sighed, pulling Eir in tightly again. “I…I can’t help it.”
[You concern is natural] AutoVajin replied again, gently rubbing the top of Eir’s head. [I too was worried]
Suvia gave the machine a thankful look, dropping down onto her knees. One arm holding her daughter tightly, she grabbed the Faiz phone on her buckle, removed it from its cradle, and entered the command to dispel her jacket. Pocketing Faiz, she quickly brought her other arm around Eir again, silently whispering comforting words into her daughter’s ears. She still couldn’t believe that she had allowed her guard down long enough that they had taken her from under her nose. She still cursed herself for it especially since it happened less than five minutes. But she knew that dwelling it for long would do her no good so she put the matter aside. It had passed, and her daughter was safe and sound in her arms again.
“I know you care about her too,” said Suvia, rising up with Eir still in her arms. “I’m glad that I can count on you.”
Walking back to where she had dropped the Faiz Edge and then retrieved it, she sheathed it back into AutoVajin before tapping its chest. “Let’s go home.” Setting Eir down first, Suvia quickly followed and mounted the motorcycle and started its engine. Pulling her daughter into another hug, she took a moment just to rest her chin atop her daughter’s snow white hair. She loved Eir. She was her world. If she lost her, she had no idea if she would ever be the same again. She was the only real thing left of her home. With the exception of a few things she had been able to grab before she left, all of her possessions were gone, and she had no idea what happened to her family. As far as she knew, Eir was the only family she had left.
A minor jolt surprised her, bringing her back to her senses to realize that AutoVajin had taken over and was driving them back home. A comforting smile formed on her lips as a hand let go of Eir and patted the motorcycle. Despite being a machine, he was a dear friend to her, and a kind brother to Eir. Despite his emotional understanding was limited, she knew he cared for her a great deal and would do just about anything to make sure that Eir was safe; even if that meant he would have to commit murder for the sake of Eir.
Glancing down at her daughter, Suvia knew that her daughter was probably still dwelling on what happened. “It’s alright…I’m here now…”
“Will I see them again?” Eir asked her mother, earning a surprised look from her.
“Who?” she asked.
“Sakuya, Kodame, and Hikari,” she clarified. “They helped me. I was scared, and they helped me.” It didn’t take a genius to realize that she was referring to the three girls who were in the same cell as her daughter. And considering that she had initially been clinging onto them when she had found them, she realized that she would have to one day formally thank those girls for taking care of her daughter. She had personally expected that they had mistreated her daughter, but if she was healthy as can be, she owed those three a big debt of gratitude for taking care of her little girl.
“Maybe…some day,” she sighed, hugging her daughter tightly letting her nuzzle her head into her neck. She would continue to protect her to the best of her ability.
--------------------------------------------
Coming to a stop, Suvia silently dismounted and carried Eir back into their home. It was a small shack that she had managed to put together years ago. From whatever funds she had left and materials she could find on her own, she had managed to put together a suitable home for herself and her daughter. It didn’t look like much, but inside she was particularly proud of. Added with the fact that the building was located on the outskirts of town, she could at least be 90% assured of having privacy, compared to the lack of it in town, or the even worse city central. At least here she could live in relative peace with her daughter without worrying about most people bothering her.
Entering the entry password on a hidden panel, she opened the door and quickly closed it behind her. Out the window, she watched AutoVajin head out behind where a hidden elevator would lower AutoVajin into a small garage she had just recently constructed. Turning on the lights, there wasn’t a day where she wasn’t thankful at the amount of engineering and computer knowledge she possessed. Everyday, she was thankful of the fact that she had studied these subjects heavily growing up. She didn’t what she would’ve done if she didn’t have the skills, resources, and resourcefulness to work with what she had to build this particular home.
Putting such thoughts aside, she headed straight for her own room and placed the young girl down on her bed. Taking the girl’s shoes and poncho off, she tucked her underneath the covers and kissed her daughter goodnight. And although she wanted to just sit and watch her daughter sleep, she had work to do before she could retire for the night.
Gently closing the door behind, she pulled off her own poncho and threw it onto the couch in the corner and approached a small workstation and logged onto her computer. Pulling her mid-back length hair into a high ponytail, she then pulled out Faiz from a holster on her belt and placed in a dock. Once that was completed, she began to work. Although she didn’t like it, she needed money. The end result was that it was best to become a mercenary. With the amount of money she had saved up over the past few years, she could have already built, or buy a completely new home, but the last thing she wanted was to stand out. Despite the fact she a decent name, she didn’t want to flaunt it. However, it bothered her and her 5 year-old daughter very little. Plus with all the money they had, Suvia was at least assured in the knowledge that she could always bring food to the table, and occasionally buy nice toys for her daughter, and random things ranging from small trinkets to clothes for herself from time to time.
Suvia let out a tired sigh as she checked the present posting for jobs. Unfortunately, none of them were very high paying assignments. To her disappointment, it didn’t seem that there wasn’t going to be much in the ways of a good paycheque this evening. But considering the amount of time she had invested searching for her daughter, she wasn’t surprised that she had missed out on a lot of jobs. At the very least she had a comfortable cushion of personal funds until she could find a new job.
Designing to call it a night, she prepared to log off when a mail notification drew her attention. Glancing at the title, she raised an eyebrow in curiosity. One to normally read mails in the morning, the fact that it was labelled some sort of emergency prompted her to open the mail and read it.
“What?!” she suddenly exclaimed, standing up in disbelief. She had to reread the mail several times before she could even accept, or even make sense of what she was reading. “I...I can’t believe it,” she breathed out, blinking as she struggled to fight back the tears, despite the swelling in her heart telling her body other wise. “She’s.....she’s alive.....She’s alive!” Sitting back down, she rapidly typed a response demanding all the information that she needed. She knew that this was no joke. What she was reading was completely genuine, especially concerning the fact that she had believed this person to have been completely wiped from all records, including from her own home.
Finishing the e-mail, Suvia let out a sigh and leaned back. “Don’t worry Lilia...I’m coming for you.” Reaching over, she opened a compartment in her desk revealing the one picture of her family she had managed to recover. It was old, but it had all of her family in it, including her younger sister, Lilia. “I’ll bring you home...”
It may have been an infodump, but a rather amusing infodump indeed to see their reactions to the "Kaiser Knights" (I should probably use that name for any Ancient Belkan Riders in the future ).

No problems I see on her abilities, nice and not overly complicated. And as usual, Ely looks veeeeery fiiiiine *ehem* As I said over at IRC, her card-based crossbow reminds me very much of Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Finally a remake of Rinya's Knight Armour, I got rid of the belt and changed her arm armour to match the rest of her KA.
BTW: This is the second(!) picture of Rinya in Knight Armour I ever made. The only other one is the pic in her profile from 2007!
You know, I like Rinya flat, but that breastplate is too much... Elegantly designed Knight Armor though, very much approved

Antagonist faction featured in Journeyers: The Majestic Twelve
Affiliation: Formerly the Alwion Empire, now the Alwion Confederacy.
What are they: The Majestic Twelve, as they were called before the civil wars, were the twelve generals of the armed forces of the Empire. Now they serves the Confederacy. The generals are the heads of the twelve most powerful clans of the Confederacy. Other than the military matters, the generals are also competent in different fields, ranging from medias, research, magic studies to weapon industry and logistic.
Their role in Journeyers: They are basically the heads of the twelve armies of the Confederacy. While the power of the armies varies from one army to the other, a single Majestic hold a power that rivals the Aces, pride of the TSAB. It is not unlikely that one of them will be after the group of the Colonel Yagami, to capture her and her friends, and bring them to the Confederacy.
On the battlefield, they may very well be the ones who will give the most trouble to the Aces, the Strikers and the Volkenritters who stayed in Mid. Not to mention that each of them are escorted by nine of the 108 Immortals.
Ethics: They follows a code of honor vaguely comparable to the code of honor of the european medieval knights. However, their role in the politics of the former empire implies that their loyalty to the former imperal clan Vickers, the ideals of Alwion itself or the people of Alwion changes from one individual to another. It is very possible that all of them have their own agenda.
The Majestic Twelve and a short description of them:
Spoiler:
Sir Grant, Clan Rodley
General of the First Army, the most powerful of the Confederacy. His clan was the first one who helped the former imperial clan to unite the empire. He now have to collaborate with the current power leading the Confederacy. He talk little about everything and even himself.
Sir Thomas, Clan Harrington
General of the Second Army. The Clan Harrington used to be made up of hunters and rangers living off the dense and dangerous forests of their homeworld. The organization of the Second Army shows a lot of the roots of the Clan.
Sir Lester, Clan Marlborough
General of the Third Army. The Clan Marborough drew its power from its cavalry, that is now an infantry heavily equiped with power armors and its tanks when horsemen became obsolete in the Alwion wars.
Sir Chuck, Clan Alberford
General of the Fourth Army, also known as the Ghost Army. His Clan was rumored to have trained shady clanmen, not to mention the secret held by its head. The Fourth Army favors stealth attacks, hit & run and night assaults.
Sir Angus, Clan Beardmore
A massive stentor who lead the Fifth Army. While his weaponry of choice is unsual in this time, his army is one of the most conventional, with a heavy emphasis on infantry and artillery; and a preference for trench and fort warfare.
Sir Gilles, Clan Blondeau
Gilles lead the Sixth Army, one of the weaker ranked. Gilles' occupation is the police forces of the Confederacy. In despite of its relative weakness compared to the other armie, the Sixth Army is feared for its terror campains, made up of wanton destruction, underhanded terrorist attacks and public executions in occupied territories.
Sir Tristan, Clan Egerton
Tristan is the leader of the Seventh Army, the one that can be expected to fight in honorable matters (seemingly). Another conventional army with no outstanding strenght and no crippling weaknesses either. However, Tristan's knightly and hotblooded behavior is famed in the Confederacy, and his troops are known for their eagerness to engage the battle.
Sir Rinaldo, Clan Blackburn
Rinaldo lead the Eighth Army, also known as the Army of the One Faith. He is deeply religious, his near fanatical devotion to the Holy Mother (the deity of the Alwion religion) have caused him to annoy his peers. His army put an heavy emphasis on its armored cavalry. Before the decline of magic, its infantrymen were known for their mystic powers and their devastating effect on the enemy. However, the decline of magic have lead them to use this power sparingly.
Sir Lloyd, Clan Enfield
Leader of the Nineth Army. He is pretty much a flyboy, like many members of his Clan who used to be gryphon riders before they went extinct. And the organization of his army with its emphasis on aircrafts, fighters, transport ships, spaceships, and troops trained to fight in relation of the flying machines shows it. He is himself a Ace pilot who can brag about a loaded kill count, but he prefers to keep the bragging for the festivals he greatly enjoys.
Lady Shannon, Clan Ashton-Evans
She is the general of the Tenth Army. Her clan was famed for its mages and advances in the magical research. Once a very powerful clan at the head of a powerful army, it is now declining because of the decline of magic itself. Her reason to go into this war is her hopes to grab the magical resources of the TSAB and its people.
Sir Aaron, Clan Gloster
General of the Eleventh Army, Sir Aaron is one of the few general who leaves the command of his army to the more competent and thrustworthy commoners. His Clan greatly controls the media and the propaganda, he was the first to have meet Hayate during their first diplomatic visit. The army he leads is the smallest in size. However, it is compensated by his spies, moles and sleeper agents who are almost EVERYWHERE.
Lady Maeva, Clan Hackworth
She was recently promoted general of the Twelveth Army, years after the death of her brother. Her Clan is one of the oldest and used to be the closest to the Imperial Clan Vickers, having produced many valuable bodyguards for the lineage. The Clan was also known for Rhongowennan, an ancient poleaxe that is said to hold great magical power, Maeva is now the one wielding it. After the questionable role of her brother at a time where the people called for a revolution (so said the propaganda), her clan fell from grace and slowly declined. Then, many of the personel of the army were transfered to the other armies. Lady Maeva seeks to restore the honor of her Clan and cannot forgive her late brother for the dishonor thrown over her Clanmen.
Spoiler for The 108 Immortals:
The 108 Immortals
Powerful combat cyborgs manufactured to serve a Clan leader and occasionally "cleanse" a planet. Each of the Majestic Twelve are given nine Immortals, and the Immortals usually battle in three groups of three. It is rumored that a trio is needed to cleanse a third of a world. They can generate plasma, are able to fly, they are highly resistant and the nanites almost turned them into non-organic lifeforms that can regenerate as long as they have energy and matter, with a heavy preference for metal. They however have a crucial flaw that will be revealed way later.
Spoiler for Inspiration:
Inspirations: The idea is very vaguely taken from the Nanto Roku Seiken. The name is from the game Deus Ex. Then I rolled with them and made this antagonist group.
The names of the Clan are taken from defunct British manufacturers.
I see Armored King Leonidas, Isaac Clarke, Adult! Cinque, Selvaria lite... WHAT IS THIS WINNING TEAM?!?!

Actually, she is not more flat than in the white uniform picture.
And even if it's a sensitive topic for her, she has no intention of making her look more 'advanced' (Well at least not in Knight Armour ).
But yeah, compared to her old KA pic she is a lot more flat, but I did draw that at a time she was not official DFC yet and thus I just gave her an avarage bust.
Remember that there are two Faintears, the Original with Exelica and Crueltear, and (another) a False one.

I know she isn't more flat... but the breasplate just makes it all the more apparent. And she might want the extra protection afforded by... "padding" her Knight Armor breastplate
You can fic the "flat" look by giving even a slight and subtle cleavage line on the plate, right now she looks like a board

Woot! Keep those ideas rolling :3
It's nice to see that those two can at least agree on something...occasionally
Well it's not hard for them to agree that those that disrespect them must suffer; although something of an unintended trend appears to be emerging where in they seem to get along best when attacking or mauling others...

Oh yeah that I'd totally forgotten about it although that scene has more or less been spliced into my crossover crack as occurring somewhere in Europe during World War 3 in EndWar... I know she isn't more flat... but the breasplate just makes it all the more apparent. And she might want the extra protection afforded by... "padding" her Knight Armor breastplate
Rinya: More protection? The Armour absorbs damage just fine thank you. And those things just get in the way. What good are these ridiculous udders anyway? *grmpf*

Nah jokes aside, I actually like it that way, k maybe she's a little too flat here but that pretty much how I wanted her to be.

Well no objections to how flat she is, just the design of the breasplate. If you want you probably make is slightly more ornate to compensate for the lack of... geography

My english is not creative enough to get this one... except it is something like.... Melons...

Hm... maybe just one black stripe like she has on the arm and leg armour, would help give it some dimensions.
And not only does he finally write a scenario but... I'm getting similar vibes to that tanker fic TK wrote once here, which means its awesome
This is confirmed a one shot. The final product might be a bit longer, but in the end its just going to be a short essay about a tank freak, a godly tank, and a pilot thats beyond godlike.

Yes, true to my word, this shot has spawn more brethrens, and next in line takes the form of more indepth imagery and some very familiar Outer Cadian stormtroopers.
Just a small WB gift for Fuyu-chan.
Want a Landraido? You'll see that and Gabrielle Angela in action in the Blutrabe Omnibus, if I ever get round to it! <_<

Reading the new IG5E pre-released codex was the real inspiration here so no.
But if you were really strict, it could be yes. However, that comes from the fact that the lessons I used for writing this came from a now abandoned short I wrote featuring O'Niel x Lindy and a Mammoth Mk III. Do not ask me what the hell that is supposed to be.
No problems I see on her abilities, nice and not overly complicated. And as usual, Ely looks veeeeery fiiiiine *ehem* As I said over at IRC, her card-based crossbow reminds me very much of Kamen Rider Ryuki.
*imagines*
*Ely inserts Falcon Bolt Card*
Bolt Gauntlet: [FINAL VENT]
*RUUUUUUUUUUUUNS*
I don't follow the Kamen Rider series so I have no idea about that

Yeah, awkward days will follow for Fuuko as she has to learn to live with Elly as her partner and sleep in the same room as her

...Mammoth Mk III? LOL.
Yeah, and AT LEAST we're not talking about how to BASH Necrons (more like send them to SLEEP).
Many WTF moments were had with a SLEEPING Necron Lord in the middle of my base. However, he would wake up to face the might of the Baneblade right in front of him.
*grumbles something about stupid touhou-loving fanservice writers making him dig up his old posts while he really wants to sleep.*

-TWACK!-
....
Silence reigned supreme, and Fate stared in shock and surprise as the broom that had just smacked Nanoha's head moved away.
"Mataku, what kind of pathetic girl are you? A little bad thing happens and you go to pieces. What happened to your spine? Do I need to cram it back in?"
Fate was at a loss for words as she stared at the blond girl dressed in what looked like a... black witch costume? She even had a broom, which was currently tapping against her shoulder in frustration as her purple eyes glared at Nanoha.
Speaking of Nanoha... Fate turned to her friend. Nanoha was also staring at the intruder with shock, but her shock was different, her eyes were wide, and her mouth open trying to form words... did she know this person?
"Shi- shishou-sama?"
...
Wait.
Roll back.
"MASTER!?" Fate yelled out in shock.
...
Gah! Crack! Go away! I don't even know a thing about Touhou, why is this crack assaulting me!?
Location: In the Netherrealm, thinking who to betray next...
Imagine this...
Takamachi Nanoha, the greatest hero of Mild Cha has been murdered, no one can even imaginate how is this posible, someone so powerfull, killed by a simply bullet in a treacherous attack when she was getting on her car, Suspects? No one known, who could be that skilled to aproach at the point of giving a clean headshot? The autposy revealed that the bullet came from a personal short gun, not good enough to hit in the target at distance. Conclusion? Someone aproached Nanoha close enough to perform the shot, but why Nanoha didn't stop the attacker? It would had been easy for her... unless it was someone that she knew... someone that she trusted enough to don't suspect of a murder, I think I'm going somewhere here.

Last I checked, she was only flesh and blood, and unless Commissioned Officers are allowed to carry their devices while off-duty in Nano-verse canon... I imagine it would be very difficult for her to deal with an ice cold killer, worse yet someone who might have been a close acquaintance. The jackarse with the gun usually wins when he or she has the element of surprise.
and unless Commissioned Officers are allowed to carry their devices while off-duty in Nano-verse canon...
Actually they do: The Forwards are clearly carrying their devices in their day-off breaks during episode 10. So yes, carrying devices while off-duty is canon: if people of lower rank can do it, why not the Aces?
