EDIT: Though I would like to point out that I still think this opening is fairly good. It's just that the previous one was downright incredible.

For those who are interested...
Here's a chart of the song broken down into which parts are sung by whom. Legend: E - ELISA L - Lia D - Duo C - Chorus Spoiler:
Being a big fan of ELISA, and having taken a liking to Lia's past work... this is probably the second most awesome duo I've ever seen. First still has to be Happy Material Return (Mahou Sensei Negima OP) by Yui Horie and Minori Chihara, live at Animelo. @Vegard Aune: Indeed, the original still is amazing in comparison. I doubt we'll see something from the newer series top it. (Also, if someone wants me to chart the other track on the single ("A Brand New God Only Knows"), just let me know.

Was kinda sad to find out A Whole New World God Only Knows wasn't the epic 10 minute of God Only Knows, but it sounds great with Lia and Elisa singing together.
Figured the other singer was Lia, her voice is quite distinct. Edit: Well, just listened to the second song on the CD... and it's sounds slightly awkward to me... anyone else get that vibe?

Hmmm, the OP song caught my interest when I watched it in the first episode, so I just gave the full version a listen and I am pleased.~
It's sung in English which I appreciate very much. I wish they did this more often. Then I'd probably be more inclined to listen to OP songs. I really liked the first season's OP song, and while that one was longer, it was more like a mix of songs than just one, but much more impressive overall. This one, despite staying the same for the entirety didn't really live up to it's predecessor. It's still a good and catchy song though, and it's now on my MP3 player.~

In addition to the character singles, just as it was last season, there's going to be an album for season II. But it's not Kanon this time. It's the Loose Souls Team of Elsie and Haqua. They've already had a character single apiece, and a solo version of Koi no Shirushi/Ai no Yokan/duet version of AnY, but this album marks something dedicated to just them. I don't know the contents of it yet, but it has been announced.
And it'll be one hell of an album. |

I listened to the radio show today and 1 of the tracks confirmed for that album is the Elsie solo version of Ai no Yokan. Since she doesnt get a character CD this season, they just put it there. There is also another Kanon single to be released on september alongisde the album...cannot wait to get them.
