Does the Voice Actor affect who lives and who dies in Sunrise shows?

Like, a lot of people expect Nena in Gundam 00 to be killed rather late since her voice actress, Rie Kugimya, is pretty high-profile and popular at this moment.

I think the same probably applied to Mu too.

Was it ever explained in any side-materials why Graham > rules?

He made his own discretion to sortie against Exia, he can unconditionally refuse to be part of the GNX team and instead have his own Flag retrofitted with a GN Drive, and from the looks of S2, he seems to be able to casually flaunt his own modifications to his uniform, wear a mask, and put on unnecessary attachments to his Ahead.

Well, it was explained in one of the supplementary materials that he invented the mid-air transformation maneuver for the Flag--the Flag was never designed for spontaneous transformation in the air, unlike the Kyrios. People call it the Graham Special.

And I think he earned the right to marry someone's daughter, but he declined. And... I can't remember anything else about his past. Others know better than I do.

Planning on watching season 2 and was just wondering which sub group is the best choice first season i sticked with Shinsen but i want your opinion.

Mu was brought back purely because of the fans who couldn't take his death in SEED. I think that, death, was also the case for Waltfield, too.

No, the Bartfeld part is from the infamous Fukuda interview. He likes certain VAs, so he brings them back from the dead or makes them good guys (as was the case for Yzak).

I don't know what your sources are for the Mu revival though... As far as I know, he said that he wanted his and Rau's VAs to return for the sequel and that was what happened.

Best to leave the dead people there. Sometimes it is not good to resurrect certain characters.

It all depends on several circumstances, including how tight the director's reign is on his project, and outside intervention, such as from head executives.

Some directors will work with VA's to determine a character's fate, while other directors will exercise complete control over their project, hence giving the VA no control on their character.

1. Perhaps because the control systems on the new Gundams are more efficient (the cones on the back of the Gundams are control mechanisms), and thus for most of them they no longer need a large cone on their back.

2. As to the second question, all of them presumably are in use on their successor Gundams the Arios, Cherudim and Seravee respectively.

I have a question regarding the purpose of CB. In s1 eps17 before Eiffman's death, he sort of discover the truth before he was hacked and killed. Did Ribbons hack him? And what are the connections between Ribbons and Aeolia?

Likely it was Corner who sent him the message before Team Trinity wiped him out. As for Ribbons and Aeolia... no idea. Won't know until later in the show.

I have a question: How old is Veda?

It seems very advanced compared to other CB Technology because what it can do. And the fact that a man from 200 years ago is using the control room for Veda as cryostasis chamber.

Probably as old as the Gundams, considering how Gen 2 and Gen 3 Gundams can link up with Veda.

I think it works both ways.

Gundam is pretty high profile stuff, too. It is one of Japan's national treasures so I bet there are a good number of VAs who wants a role in a Gundam show.

In Nena's case I can't imagine her having too much screen time. Kugimiya might be busy/expensive but it can't be that bad if her character doesn't talk much

Probably not.

IIRC Veda supposedly played a hand in Celestial Being's covert manipulation of the world political situation, before the Gundams were even created.

Also, it's not that hard to have the 2nd and 3rd Gen Gundams be designed to hook up to Veda.
