The novel has a lot of stupid moments.
Like Pippi's bodyguard squad just assuming Pippi is somewhere else, safe. And then they keep assuming that for days.
That's not how bodyguards work.

Plus the empire princess immediately believed the thing about Rain being a massive womanizer when all he did was try to shit talk him the entire time.
Like she didn't even buy the first few insults.

What bothers me is all females introduced are heroines and innocents. Can't hurt to have non-heroines 1 or 2.
