That was really funny.

The point of this thread was to present a satire of the dubbed version of One Piece. While the first post was spectacularly uninformative, the link was wonderful and interesting to many of the people who visit this forum.

I think 4Kids should just quit while they're ahead. Because it'll be more pain for them when the fans keep sending them email constantly telling them countless times how bad a job they're doing.

But indeed, I agree with you guys. To us, 4Kids' a really stupid freakin dubber who hasn't learned their lesson on how to do their animes. And it doesn't even show with past animes they've done. The end result is still the same; bad background music, acting, bad intro and no "jaw dropping" ending sequence.

Oh my bad, wasn't particularly focused since I was watching anime and reading manga that wasn't horribile brutalized and censored at the time.

4kids should really change their company name to 4themoney because all the current edits they've done are just ridiculous and show that all they have in mind is to gain money from ignorant children, and I don't mean that in an insulting way but the fact that they remain oblivious of most of these edits excluding that of the addition of the world Navy since it's just god damn ridiculous how bad they did in editing that word in.

There are some many shows in the US that kids, teenagers, etc. have access to that at times are more violent than One Piece. An obvious example would be the news along with that little obsession over how one of Bush's daughters is supposed to be a lesbian, boy has the news media gone down hill.

Is it me or is 4kids trying to hide the obvious fact that One Piece and their other liscensed anime shows are from Japan with these horrible new craptastic openings and edits.

It's amazing how Onigiri, which is obviously seaweed and rice, can be called cookies. That's like in Pokemon where Brock (I think that's his name) called them donuts or some stupid crap like that.

I like how they had previews for next year, "We'll probably screw up Naruto."

Classic, yet... I don't want it to happen. I better start preparing for the 4Kids assassination mission. Anyone want to join? Remember, if anything, it's for the kids.

If they liscense Naruto, I'm sure everyone's first thought be along the lines of aw f**k or something like that.

I guess 4kids will just as usual dumb down the minds of children with thoughts that there are no guns in the world, that getting cut won't lead to bleeding, and all these other insane inconsistencies. I know One Piece is an out this world show with its Devil Fruit and other stuff but at least it, talking about the original japanese version of course, didn't try to hide the existence of guns and the result of their use along with other types of weapons.

If 4kids licenses Naruto, The earth shall quake with the rythmic martching of Otaku around the world as we strap bombs to ourself and proclaim Otaku-Jihad on 4kids.

Why oh why didn't I view this thread sooner? That was great, especially the Mary Poppins parody and Bush saying "0utz0r5".

Step-in time! Step-in time! Step-in time! Step-in time!

Goes right up there with the "How to be a Narutard" flash.

Unfortunately, I don't have the flash player installed. So all I can do is talk trash about the decision that 4Kids did about One Piece.

He said "outsourced," not "0utz0r5"

Outsourcing is the management of an entire business function by a third party service provider. Outsourcing can be provided on or off premises, in the same country or in a separate country.
It pretty much means the job was done out of the country by unskilled workers because they don't demand as much money as citizens of the country where the business is located would, which is the main reason why you'd probably find yourself talking to a guy living in india if you call about getting a Dell computer fixed. It makes sense after the scene where it says that none of the shows are american.

Put in my $10, because 2 cents are for homeless people.
