I think Kaos' editor could have phrased that rejection a little better: something along the lines of "you've got some ideas that could be quite useful, just iron out your story and you could have something here. I can't accept this as it is, but work on it some more and bring it back and I'll take another look at it" ...something like that. I get the feeling that every time Kaos' manuscripts get rejected she goes completely back to the drawing board (figuratively speaking) and tries to reinvent the whole thing from scratch, rather than taking the potentially decent parts from her previous attempts and working on the parts that weren't up to par.

Ah, Kaos. Such a sucker for big boobs and a pretty face.

I'd really hope that she is saying something like that past the point where the episode cuts off. Otherwise she really isn't helping Kaos that much. Though maybe it's just in Kaos' personality to start fresh any time she meets with rejection/failure. That nothing she came up with has value because the whole just wasn't good enough this time.

Could easily just be building up to her literally taking all the pieces that she's come up with so far...and just writing Comic Girls . She hits a low(er) point down the road and ends up looking through all the material she's made so far and the light bulb goes off.

She knows what she likes . Though credit to her that she doesn't just prefer those with large breasts. She still respects Ruki regardless . I'm just glad she found something about Fuura she liked otherwise she would be dead by now. Can only take so much terror.

That is not the vibe I get from her since she wants to be cuddled but does not want to grope or ogle them. I see Kaos as a little furry mammal, I mean, you would not call your puppy dog, cat or hamster a lesbian just because she likes to be on top of ample female bosoms, would you?

I am starting to think Fuura is the one that is a Youkai and does not know since even after she was accepted, she still wants to feed on the fear of her peers, like Rokka AYATSUJI from Youkai Shoujo: Monster Girl.

Would have to agree with this. What we're seeing with Kaos, it's mostly just bait at this point.. I've been watching cgdct shows for awhile now, and I've only seen bait become almost the real thing just once.

IIRC, in the manga, Koyume doesn't have a serialization at this point, but has more oneshots than Kaos does. I don't know why the anime changed it.

I would leave to the others to argue why Kaos like mature-looking women--really, both theories have some force, and it's hard for me to decide which is correct.

No need for theories. Maternal attachment is what you seek..

Speaking as someone who wears glasses; no. When you haven't had anything to compare to, your vision is just the way things look. There's nothing about it that's "bad" or that "needs to be improved" it's just the way things are. Until and unless you take a vision test that reveals how bad it is, you won't know. And even then, you still won't really understand it until you get your new glasses and everything is so. bloody. clear. that it almost makes you dizzy due to how different it is from the way you've always seen the world.

I watched up to episode 3.
Is there any explanations about the way Kaos thinks of the High School Girls like that so far?
It is kind of easy to relate to how she has lack of understandings of High School Girls.
So what is up with her drooling all over them?

Watched up to episode 7:

Fun episode. Kaos trying to help Fuura sempai.. as expected, there are plenty of scares. And some friendship moments too.

An important thing this episode that doesn't been discussed too much is that Amizawa, as it turns out, may be more similar to Kaos than we previously thought. At least to me, she starts out as a relatively normal adult, but she might be as much an otaku as Kaos and may even probably has the same preferences.

A fair point and something I think was important to reveal. While obviously being an editor is her job, can see a bit clearer as to why she has faith in Kaos. May very well see the similarities between them and wanting to see Kaos achieve her potential. It was nice anyways to get some more insights when it comes to Amizawa's personality. I didn't expect her to have similar views on glasses as Kaos .

When Koyume says she get a short serialization, do anyone here have an idea about how short it can be?

They should've animated everything in Makoto Shinkai style after Kaoruko marvelled at the crispness her glasses bring as a visual joke.

Then the rest of the episode would be done in wireframe only since they would go overbudget

I am the only one to comment they found a loli in a box (and took her home), as a side bonus the loli included a figure!

It is a wonder that Kaos learned to do perspective so fast, since Fuura was rewarding her for failing.

That part melted my heart. I found it a clever bit of humour, especially since Koume tried looking for Kaoruko in a box earlier
