Well, I didn't see them lasting long once Kaijiura departed, but it's still sad to hear confirmation that they're disbanding. All good things come to an end.

Not total disbandment but it's still sad to see such a rift. I don't think this is personal thoug. Seems more like a matter of principle

sigh, one of my favorite band. I kind of wary this would happen since Kajiura left, but the new hit me harder than expected

Kajiura's coming to AX this year! Damn, if only the concert was Saturday instead of Friday.

Edit: Holy crap, from her website, Kaori, Kaida, and Joelle are going to be at the concert as well. Joelle is also going to be a vocalist during Kajiura's 25th anniversary special.

In other news, I heard somewhere that Joelle will be replacing Keiko for Kalafina's tenth anniversary concert and that Kalafina will be disbanding right after. I really enjoyed Joelle's role as Elizabeth in Märchen, but I'm not sure how deep she'll be able to go if she really is filling in for Keiko. I haven't found any definitive sources on this though, and it would seem strange for her to be working for both Kajiura and Kalafina the same time, so take it with a huge grain of salt.

^Been a fan of Kajiura and FictionJunction for far longer than Kalafina's existed, so that's fine with me. Shame I can't attend, but I'm glad Kajiura's still able to collaborate with these artists, even if it's not under a specific project name

Weren't FJ projects under some other label? She should still have full liberty to do FJ stuff if so

I'm not sure, but I remember reading that she shut down FictionJunction after leaving Space Craft.
