^i dont see how this is an unknown for ainz goal.

Sudden discovery of nazarick, momon in empire, demiurge plan to make nazarick known to outside world, momon asking "useless" question.

The whole thing is screaming nazarick "just as planned" scheme

Poor Arche. I think if she had admitted she was doing this for her little sisters, Ainz would have tried to find some way to spare her, since he clearly has a weak spot for kids. Whether he would have succeeded is less sure, we know that sometimes people die even if he does not particularly want it, if he is not there at the time. But as it is, I guess it is into the meat grinder with them all, alas. Hopefully the minions will handle this on their own so Ainz doesn't have to kill them personally.

While I get why Archer wouldn't just come out and admit that her sisters are her reason for doing the quest, doing so probably would have gotten her Ainz's sympathy and possibly his mercy.

Overlord is a weird anime/light novel. Most stories revolve around a protagonists struggles. Overlord has an MC so overpowered you just assume any new character is going to die, especially when they boast of combat prowess. Its kind of like a horror story in that regard. The new characters are going to die, we are watching for the how.

However, Overlord avoids mary sue problems because the other fighters from the great tomb often get highlight. Take this arc for example, we already know these "Workers" are DOOMED. The only question is who will kill them and how they die. It makes for an unusual but very entertaining anime.

I guess there could be a slim chance where arche probably tell momon about her situation (maybe while walking in the nazarick or when they take a break), she still has that option in the next episode.

Arche situation is like VN protag now

If she didnt choose "tell momon her sob story" option, she's pretty much dead on (nazarick) arrival

There's already a hint in the first scene before the Opening theme: Fludel, the Empire's chief magician, is being asked to have an audience with Darkness, the adamantite adventurer duo. And more hints scattered through the episode.

The problem is her reason to become a worker wasn't actually because of her little sisters. It's just her pretext. If she truly had cared for them, she could have just taken them with her and run away from their horrible parents even if it means they had to hide themselves and lived in poverty. Instead she chose a dangerous job to make more money. It means her true desire was to live in luxury again. She didn't even consider the possibility she may die in that line of job and her sisters would then be left to greedy her parents.

That would have gotten her parents killed. Maybe her, too. Depending on how debt collection works in the Empire.

Arche is effectively doing it for the money and that's all. Whatever purpose that money has doesn't matter, I'm sure the others have their own purposes for the cash as well. So her telling Momon that it was for her sisters doesn't really make sense.

Death is the least of their worries I think. I think the priest all the way in ep 1 is caught and tortured or that woman in 8 fingers that got their insides eaten from within....

I kinda wanted to see the Momon practice duel with the old guy, but I suppose the other stuff that they showed was more important.

Nice meetings with the Nazarick characters. The episode did feel rather rushed. The next episode was the part I really wanted to see however.

Spoiler for Episode 7 Comments/Feedback:

I wanted to see a massacre and I wasn't disappointed.

I didn't mind seeing that blonde knight die fighting Hamsuke, he treated those elves like dirt, no wonder they were happy to him him suffer, no they weren't mourning the dead, they were kicking his dead ass.

I think those elves will be recruited to Nazarick, they can be useful in some way.

The 4 that are likable have the unfortunate task of Ainz himself, I don't them to die, at least the one who wants to see her younger siblings.

So why is Ains personally fighting this particular group of 4? He should already know that he will wipe the floor with them in his ultimate form as a mage. Well, he did mention testing out a sword. The only sword, so far that have been mentioned, are the ice sword from the reptiles and the magic sword from the trolls. He has already used the ice sword in a fight before, so it can't be that. However, he mentioned that he was going to give the troll sword to someone in Carna Village.


Well, we'll just have to wait until next week to see what happens.
