then how would Kanao fight against him?

Shinobu supposedly knows how to defeat Douma, so maybe getting absorbed is also a part of that? Like she is one big living poison bag, and now Douma just going to get weakened because of her? Still, he is Upper Moon #2, so Kanao getting a solo win even with the potential poisoning is questionable.

Picked this title up. Feels closer to a much better structured D Gray Man than Inuyasha tbh. That's a good thing though. Anyways, I feel Ume/Gyuutarou appeared too early in the story. Should have kept them further back with how they parallel Nezuko/Tanjiro. Kind of a waste there

^Zenitsu likes Nezuko, and Tanjirou has some potential lovers, but nothing concrete, and the story doesn't focus on romance in present time. Mostly it's one-sided crushes, nothing mutual so far. Although the Sound Pillar has 3 wifes.
