Maybe it is better to talk about what KBM can do outside of just having them join the forums in order to vote with inclusion to getting those high vote count totals back. As Kyuu stated, it does not stop one from applying multiple usernames at once for a server and multivoting there. Is it possible to lift up the forum ID rule and return to what it once was? With vote counts on the low, multivotes have a higher chance of swaying an outcome. Can you not simply check the results to check for multivotes during the match like AST has done or wait for about a few hours to go over mulitvotes and pull up actual results later like ISML does? I think, had multivotes been checked in the very beginning, this large mess may not have happened. I guess the staff trust us too much to consider multivoting to start with?

The enhanced multi-vote detection was made possible because of registration.AST's vote checking system has many flaws as many people can tell you that with some Japanese IP addresses, there are multiple ways you can get hundreds of valid code to use. As to having vote checking periods before release of results and other measures, may be you have better luck convincing KBM staff compared to I.
