The Best 8 are Ayato, Fuyuka, Lester, Julis, Saya, LN-T, Sylvia and Orphelia.

According to Xinglou, the strongest one from Ryouzanbaku should be Violet. Her rank there is Koubu, the highest, and she is also the one Xinglou mentioned before in Vol 12 about being able to land a hit on her. Minato is also considered one of the strongest there and Lester's rank there is also Koubu. Don't know how Julis is ranked there but she managed to defeat Xiaofei, who Xinglou thinks should be superior to everyone at Ryouzanbaku. I think Julis > Lester > Violet > Minato.

I just looked at the illustrations (thanks for posting them, Sparhawk).

Is that Haruka in the black suit in the last one? And there's one illustration posted twice, but who's the girl in that illustration? I also need to ask who the guy wearing glasses is, and also who it is that Julis is fighting in one of the colored illustrations.

I'm actually surprised that Lester made it to the top 8, he's really gotten stronger since the first volume. I've also noticed in one of the pictures, that Sylvia appears to be having trouble against Fuyuka (I think?), what was their match like?

And, judging by that last picture, did Haruka get a job at Queenvail as a teacher?

In order to make the fights in Lindwurm look high level, the author has introduced new strong characters and has made many characters much stronger now. Look what happened to Ernest. Few volumes ago Ernest even without Lei-Glems would be considered as approximately the 5th strongest student, but now he might be near the bottom of Top 20.

I still haven't fully read this novel (vol. 14) yet It's mostly one battle after another, but when the book came out I kind of skimmed it to get to Haruka's part Which is at the end... part of the epilogue. Haruka is not a teacher there, she is investigating an incident that can't remember her name it begins with a "V" remembers or was involved in. Haruka went there to meet her and listen to her story. I think it has something to do w/ one of the members of the GBA. I have yet to fully read the book and want to, but haven't had much time too..

It didn't start getting into the investigative part until like the last chapter and epilogue, It's mostly about the lindwurm. When volume 15 comes out it will most likely deal with dirk, the GBA and we will get to know more about what they're planning. Haruka may also appear more along with the others, that were absent from this volume. This volume gave almost nothing away about what's happening in the future. Even Ayato is still clueless, he's focusing on the battles.

Yen Press has picked up the pace as well, releasing at 1 volume every 3 months now instead of the usual 4 months.

Their was a post a while back with the release of the third volume of the sinpoff series all it said was working on it now hope to have out soon. So hopefully real soon.

Nothing yet.

The author had released the last Queens Veil volume in IIRC April.

Technically the author isn't actually behind schedule. The author had released the last two volumes back to back within a month of one another. Factor in the usual release time and the recent Queens Veil LN release, the author is technically within schedule.

Fake harem, and it's not worth it, the author does not care about the readers, it has been a year and he saids nothing, besides power levels went to hell in the last vol.
